well my opinion is dans shoryu is really good, i’d compair closely to ryus… and dans ultra is better in some ways that vegas is… then theres the question of crossing up. vega can choose which side he jumps on and for move where he jumps off the wall and you can choose which side to hit them on in mid air…
i myself would say vega is better…pokes and punish ultra are pretty good. dan on the other hand is limited by his current ultra. in ssf4 he should be a little better, vega to i hope!

Well rounded? thank you for the compliment. I dont really have a main right now but if i had to choose id say rog. because i am more comfortable with him against anyone in the game right now. SSF 4 tho, is gonna be hard for me cause Rog is just as nasty in the new SSF and Abel just got beastly he is good in SF 4 but has graduated to beastly. sagat has got his dmg toned down but has gain some speed so ill have to see how he feels… DJ is back and i really want to play him, i just found out they took out his ex sobat kick crumple effect so now im not too sure. we will just have to see when the game comes out who i am comfortable with. I have been playing ryu for 15 or so years now and i retired him. I really enjoy the new SF’s , man thats why i have so many toons i play with, i just have alot of fun. Sitting down with Ian and learning MK hands that night was just fun to me. Im not a combo savy person never have been. I just dont have it anymore in that department. So i compensated for it by upping my spacing zoning etc…

i played the guy who is baikin axl or somethin. added him from here. not sure which and don’t wanna look it’s late for who it is. but he’s seemingly a honda main. pretty good. he hands me quite abit but ya know i had to hands him back lol. hopefully we’ll play more. gen is my answer to honda from now on. no turtling with gen around.

Is it just me, or does anyone here thinks the toons in Tekken have way too many damn moves? I mean seriously WTF??? I scroll down the moves list and im like honestly who the hell remembers all this shit? By the time i learn the 10th move on the list i forgot the first 3. Im willing to bet HALF that shit is useless too lol… Well im still tinkering around fury has uhhh ok moves, hast a nasty sweep that sets up combos apparently but from the looks of it is pretty useless. I mean if u getting hit by that thing u deserve to die its so slow… punch to the chest is nasty too, speacial move that tracks lol nasty… gonna see what bob has today. hrm still think dragunov is beastly tho, just my opinion im no tekken guru but i Think he is at least AA. Lars seems cool, hrm sooo many characters… Miguel is ranked so high? I heard he was crap in the game… Guess not lol… anywhos trading SF knowledge for T6 knowledge lets go!

i noticed eddy was a tier higher than cristy… i always assumed they were the same char, either the difference is in hitboxes or sluts arent looked apon nicely.

Yeah, Eddy and Christie are the exact same, frame data wise. Eddy has longer limbs, which puts him above Christie. Lili is up top because she has great damage and is relatively/really safe on her important moves (from what I’ve read anyway). That being said, any Tekken vets have any tips for a newbie? Aside from an hour in Tekken 5, I have practically no Tekken experience whatsoever. I play Asuka, if that matters. I can do her [launcher], 21, 21 1+2, d/b 34 and her [launcher], 1+4, 21 1+2, d/b 34 combos just fine, but I have trouble hitting [launcher], u/f 3, 21, 21 1+2, d/b 34. I can never get the final kick to connect.
Also, the unlockable rages are a pain in the ass to get. I finally managed to get the fire rage for Asuka, but it took well over 8-10 hours of abusing the roulette trick. x_x

tekken! so apac, no one uses unblockables in matches. i dont normally play asuka, rachel played her, lol. ill do my research and let you know. if youd like to get together with me tonight we can test out some asuka.
advice. training mode, turn on counter hits. learn what moves launch, bounce, and crumple. go through the entire list of moves to make sure you get the launchers, bounces and crumples. your going to need to do them over and over again untill its ingraved in muscle memory.
also learn the side step twitchy thing so you can use the field to your advantage. like placing you opponant infront of the closest wall
