On top of it all, SRK was down to move to new servers, therefore by the time it went back up, people thought it was too late when we didn’t really kick things off till almost 9!
If it is easier for everyone… we may move from Sun to Sat, but there will ALWAYS be people with prior engagements.
I tend to make them all either because of my ‘not set in stone’ work schedule.

lots… get a Hannspree monitor, probably one of the best out there w/HDMI inputs and displays 1650x1580 or whatever 1080p. I have two 22" mons on my desktop that I got from Best Buy at a ‘best buy’ <literally.
If you are making a cab… scrap that idea if you have no carpenters exp or resources like tools, etc… <it can get expensive and I should know first hand! I use to make and sell sticks, control panel displays and right now, you can actually go out a buy an arcade cabinet from Tilt and use it as a host. Keep the monitor for later use or resell (you can buy adapters for monitors to consoles and shit like that online <more on that later)
From there, buy yourself a barebone pc, with adequate ram, and a decent processor (for MAME) <might as well use PC for M.A.M.E. and SFIV. Barebone PC will cost you at the most no more than $500 w/good processor/ram, an arcade cab (preferably w/25-27" monitor) could cost anywhere from $400 to $1k depending on the game in it or you can always ask to buy the cab w/out the jamma board and it’ll be cheaper. Just make sure to test it first to make sure the monitor is still good, buttons and sticks don’t pay attention to <that whole panel can be ripped and replaced to accommodate what you intend to do. 2 players, 4 players, Happ parts, seimetsu, sanwa, wireless pads… you name it.
It’ll be a fun… and expensive project, but it’ll be worth it! I had another cab with a DC inside running, MvC2, MvC, MKT, CvS2, and etc. I had a kenwood receiver inside with two 12"s for optimized arcade sound! It was fucking gorgeous!
Never got picked up for the ranbat thing.

All the computer specs I got, I can grab a netbook and MAME runs fine on most netbooks.
As for the cabinet ones at tilt are all american style buttons and making changes to the panels would be simple. I saw most of the cabinets had a “For Sale” sign on them I’ll be at the mall this weekend, i’ll browse.

Anyone remember Pullum from EX series? For some reason I would almost prefer that they add her to Super 4 instead of, say, Ibuki or Elena, I kinda dug that chick with her little gypsy outfit. Even better yet, Hokuto would make me happy. For all the dud characters Capcom has (read, Skullomania) they had two good ones to make up for it.
man capcom has so many characters its not even funny…espically in the street fighter world…
Not netbook… desktop pc. You can upgrade a desktop easier than a netbook as a netbook you’re pretty much limited. You want MAME to run more than just fine, you need it to run flawlessly. Anyway, last time I talked to one of the employees at Tilt, I asked how long there for going to be on sale for and he told me until Jan 4… better hurry! I doubt ANYONE bought a cabinet at all since then. I want that Time Crisis… it was only $500 something… anything cab w/gun panel can easily be replaced with a 2 player panel. You’ll just have to buy the proper jamma harnesss for the capcom games (if you’re going to use it for fighters) Then the joystick/buttons.
