I’m about to bounce to the T-Mo store after work to play with the Curve 8900. I haven’t messed with a Blackberry before, been always messing with Samsung OSes and my brother’s iPhone (which I’m also considering), and also S60 phones (I currently have an N95 8GB).
What should I be expecting?

I currently have AT&T and honestly can’t wait until my contract is up. Their high-ass prices are unbelievable. I do like my current phone, though (Sony Ericsson w350), despite the fact that the flip just broke. But I think that was due to my bad habit of constantly flipping it open and closed when I’m talking on my bluetooth. Luckily, it was still under warranty. Other than that it, however, it has been a good cell.
blackberry is rather lacking in comparison to winmo and android os’s…it feels more restricted to me at least…the web browsing sucks so if you’re using to the web browsing on your brothers iphone dont expect the blackberry to compete with that
Wait for the Motorola Cliq. Comes out next month.
I’m gonna go to my brother’s house this weekend. His wife’s got a G1, he’s got an iPhone. SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON JUTSU!
FallingEdge: Looking on the Engadget hands-on video for the Cliq does have me interested. I can only hope they’re not going to have a ridiculous data plan strictly for the device like they do with the G1.
EDIT: I gave Blackberries a chance before, and they failed years ago. Some things never change. Seriously, the OS LOOKS like it was made by a programmer and no one was hired to make the shit look pretty. Not my thing.

Who the hell use default browser? I use Opera-5 mini (beta). It not even complete and I’m loving it regular Opera mini isn’t bad either.

my bad i have aim a messenging app on my phone that logs me on everytime i turn my phone on i didnt get a im on my fone from u tho maybe because u werent in my buddy list or somethin iono but i jus added u let me know what kinda apps u lookin for ill run em ur way i gotta app that turns ur phone into a wifi router and can share the signal with like a laptop or something

much faster than i’m used to with the iphone
vibrating keyboard though had to turn that shit off right away. also it comes pre loaded with a bunch of junk apps. took about an hour to get rid of all of them
i have a tilt right now and my contract is up so now im torn. heres what im thinking in no particular order with some questions im hoping u guys can answer.
options:

get the tilt2 - love the screen and im pretty familiar with winmo and flashing roms and all that shit since ive got the tilt.

wait for a tegra/winmo 7 phone - im not in any real hurry to upgrade but is an htc tegra phone coming out next year? also if i did get the tilt2 could it handle a winmo7 rom? (screen resolution, cpu requirements, etc)

get an iphone 3gs - im tempted to switch over as basically all my tech friends have gotten one and im quite jealous at all the stuff it can do now (mainly games)

wait for the next iphone - is one coming out next year? theyve released a new one every year so would they wouldnt break the cycle next year would they? what improvements is the next iphone rumored to have?
also will the iphone ever be able to do flash? every other smartphone is supposed to have a working beta by the end of the year. is it a hardware limitation in the 3gs?? if so id definately wait for the next iphone if thats what i decided to get.
