hey guys im playing my CVS2 with Controller(PS2). I use K groove the most and i see lots of players using C groove and A groove, A groove seemed very interesting so i tried using the guide from SRK.com. Best thing i could pull off was Nakarou’s d/f HP x19 and couldnt finish it :wow: . Also tried Sakuras shoshosho CC i pull it out 3 times and something else came out :xeye: . then i tried Rolento’s CC and  :crybaby:. i really dunno wut im doing wrong :wtf: :looney: . was wondering if neone can give me some hint… i guess reading isnt helping much for me
Read the sakura CC threads, which suggest multiple ways of performing her ground CC. Then try it in training until you can do it either going left or right. Then do it versus the cpu in vs. Then fine tune that shit on a human.
make sure u do full qcf motions and time the hps on the shoshosho cc. If your having major problems still, maybe you should try a stick…
I’m also using a pad so I know what you went through. Start off with easy CCs - Ken/Kyo/Iori/Hoahmaru … just usually the ones that contain 1 button presses at the end. Then after that start accelerating to harder CCs like Rolento,Akuma, etc…
Your thumb should hurt and start to blister after a lot of play - when it does start to blister, do not play, you will not be able to pull CCs of like Bison’s(once you are at advanced). I suggest you rest and wait 24 hours till play.
Thnx for the reply i was thinking that i couldnt do it becuz i dun have a stick but that really sounded like a lame excuse. Maybe im juss not a A groover i will try till next week and see how it comes thnx guys
Just Keep playing K… It’s probally the best groove for a Pad.
This Dude at ECC( his name was Danny?! ) form Canada had Mad DC controller skillz. We played like 20+ matches,I couldent even tell he was playing on the pad. :karate:
Just practice dude I’m also a K-groove player. I got bored on playing K-groove because of lack of challenge. I tried to switch to A-groove this past few months but I got the hang of it, but I haven’t used my A-groove in a tournament match. I’m still having goosebumps using it.
