WE ARE GETTING CVS2!!! There’s what some new-found love from the arcade’s owner, manager, and staff can get ya! (fixing the service button on MVC2, re-wiring SC2’s buttons, and teaching the staff how to properly maintain the DDR machine probably helped:rofl:)
If there’s some success at this tourney, I think I’ll make a bi-monthly deal. No registration fees, just sign up an play. Then the occasional “serious” tourney. I’ll be replacing MSHvSF with CVS2 and I fixed the service button on MVC2, so it seems that gameplay will improve significantly henceforth. Not to mention the buttons I’m replacing on the MVC2 cab :wasted: 2p A1 and A2 buttons were FUCKED UP.
So… change of plans… we are NOT getting CVS2:confused:
Basically, I went in today to change the MVC2 board to the CVS2 board and move the MVC2 board to the MSHvSF cab as the manager and I had planned, but I go in and everybody says that they never had the board to begin with. EVER. Even when the MVC2 board is in the CVS2 cabinet. So much for that one… thanks, Silver Coin of Burlington :arazz:
Sad days.
Off to play some MVC2 today. I’m thinking of doing the tourney again. I’ll just keep trying until there’s success. Next time, I’m arranging multiple tournaments, though. DDR will be included. And if that happens, the owner’s gonna get some jacks to lift up the pads to get fixed for the first time in ___ years. lol
