What gets me is that people are making a big deal over this when there are genocides and political massacres going on right now in Darfur, Rwanda, Ethopia, and Iraq; religious cleansing going on all over the world, and people getting murdered in plain sight in our own country… yet people have been getting obsessed and polarizing one another over being horrified that one white girl who may or may not have killed her daughter possibly got off the hook.
Casey Anthony is a low girl on the totem pole. How about we go after the people chopping off the heads of children while they sit at their desks in school? Seems a little higher priority to me.
I personally blame the media for getting the sheep all stirred up, but that’s just me.
I’m not sure how you can say that EZ. America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. Yep, not highest among first world countries - highest among ALL countries.
Also other countries don’t have as much of the 24 hour news porn cycle that turns cases like this into circuses. In another country this case probably wouldn’t have even made it to trial.
Back then, there was no rule which specifically determined “Do not contaminate the crime scene” which was what specifically happened in the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman. People that weren’t police officers walked all over the crime scene, making decisive evidence difficult to come by. Evidence was found on the body of Nicole Simpson that could have incriminated OJ [blood samples were found on the body that were not hers], however was this all thrown out the window when they decided to take the body to the morgue and wash it. It’s because of this trial that you see the "don’t contaminate the crime scene " rule enforced.
Aside from OJ’s defense attorneys getting him off, you also have to take into account the jurors. Both sides had a disproportionate amount of female jurors. From a original jury pool of 40% white, 28% black, 17% latino, and 15% asian, the final jury for the trial had 10 women and 2 men, of which there 9 blacks, 2 whites, and 1 latino. However, there was more factors than just that, such as the location of the trial for example
I didn’t know about this chick and her trial until today…
I can tell a lot of people turned on domehead’s show and got their information on “how well” this trial was going for the prosecution when in reality they didn’t have shit in the beginning and they didn’t have shit at the end, the only thing making this case look winnable for them was Nancy Grace, who coincidentally is now going on record claiming she had nothing to do with the sensationalizing of this trial.
Pure bullshit, that’s all Nancy Grace ever does!

Okay do you think a public defender is going to do that much stuff for his client ? I fail to get your point a lot of stuff got thrown out because of OJ’s lawyers. I don’t see how OJ getting some great attorneys to get that stuff thrown out + some police bundling of the case changes anything.
