If you have a Meijers which is a store that usually in the Midwest goofed and did a ad for Bayo 2 at $39.99. Was able to get it price matched at BB for $39.99 and used a $10 cert to knock it down. This is very YMMV since i have like 2 Meijers near by and probably had a chill cashier. She basically saw the image on my phone and did the price match with no problems. I trie dthe first for a few minutes. Just to plya a perfect version, becuase I have the ps3 versoin and even with the patch and install its still eh. But I can’t speak on if costumes are unlocked from the start. I know in Bayo 2 you gotta bouy the costumes. I currenly got the Fox and Peach one.
Also man if you peep miiverse for either game you see nothing but positivity. I’m seeing niggas post about how they suck and get stone ranks but the game is encouraging them to do better and etc.
And i occasionally am seeing people say they actually want her in Smash bros lol
The costumes are unlocked from the start in Bayonetta. Using the Peach outfit. Disappointed about the finishers, but the coins, sound effects and Bowser limbs are dope.
Haven’t used the other ones, yet.

Finished it a few hours ago an goddamn what a game. The chapter with the mechs was fucking amazing, had goosebumps the entire time. The whip is so damn awesome, being able to slam even bosses while in witch time is so sick. Gotta buy up all the accessories and outfits now so I can tackle dem witch trials. Oh and please tell me that Jeanne’s [details=Spoiler] Outfit from the ending is unlockable. she looks damn good in it lol. [/details]
Started my run on NSIC and so far Bayonetta 1 > 2. Wicked Weave damage nerf was uncalled for, makes using Love Is Blue a huge pain the ass.

A friend of mine who is a action-game fan that went to all the trouble and difficult of getting a platinum trophy in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 started playing Bayonetta 1 recently on PS3 (because I was always telling him how great the game is) and the first thing he said to me after playing the game for half an hour was “Do this stupid song keeps playing troughout all the fights?”
I am thoroughly convinced that the battle themes only start making sense when the game finally “clicks” and you start doing Dodge Offset and getting Gold and Platinum/Pure Platinum ranks.
Help me out here, Dodge Offset is when you dodge and press and hold an attack button, right?
I was always a little confused about this…
Yes, you dodge while holding an attack button, and when you come out of dodge and press anorher button, the next sequence of the combo comes out.
This allows you to bust out Wicked Weaves faster and get to the more powerful combo enders without waiting for the earlier parts of the combo to end, as you can cancel any attack with dodge.
You can even charge Shuraba/Rakshasa while dodging and keep your combo going.
