Welp. Beat the game once. I enjoyed it. Gotta go back and unlocked stuff and try Tag. Schoolgirl Bayo is a go.
Beat the game post B-Day celebration. My goodness! I can’t believe that this is basically the Empire Strikes Back for extreme combat sequels. It too literally everything that made the first game awesome and made it better. Unfortunately, that cutscene thing the game does is annoying as shite, but I won’t watch those ever again. Just let me kill stuff. The little Nintendo perks are great. This is how all devs need to treat costumes (basically how most games were prior to DLC). Several hours in the future will be dedicated to platinum score this title. Purchase was fully justified.
I put it on weeaboo mode (Japanese language) and I was happy. The still frame cut scenes are one thing I did not like about the first game and still don’t like it in this one. Maybe if they just did it in a comic fashion, it would’ve been okay, but, whatever. Can skip them now and not have to worry about it.

So the first Bayo is all good. Got some sleep, lol. I do wanto compare it myself against the 360 version, for shits-n-giggles.
Gonna star Chapter 12 soon. Game has been fantastic thus far. Nothing more to say. Going on a blackout until I beat the game.
Game is too good. Gonna atleast try to Gold or Plat everything on 2nd climax. I think I got 2 silvers on chapters? And grind out some halos then start 3rd climax.
Damn. We got 3 platinum games since last September ans we got another one on the way. This is unreal.
But man this game. Excellent single player, fun co op, packed with unlockable shit as well as simply top notcg gameplay to make you wanna come back for more. Seeing as this is Platinum first sequel it makes me happy to know that they went in no holds barred on this. I can’t even process how a W102 would be
You should just play on 3rd dude. 3rd Climax doesn’t actually make the enemies harder in my experience, just do more damage. Maybe they’re faster? It doesn’t feel like a big difference tactically though
Actually to people who beat the game with no deaths, was that on 3rd or 2nd?

I’ma check it out. Man made like 500k doing Tag climax. My only issue with that mode, is because you got two people doing alot, sometimes its hard to see what the hell is going on, especially if there’s multiple big enemies on screen. But yeah I’ll get to 3rd climax. Lots of unlockables for each character. So much time is gonna be pumped into this.

But yeah still enjoying it. Just not sure if I should be focusing on buying costumes or Accesories. I still gotta get all these Rodin treasures as well. Also I snoop on the miiverse for both Bayo games, and everyone seems to love it and damn dude it makes me so happy. That alot of these people went out and gave the series a chance.
Also they Bayo 2 soundtrack is supposed to come out on Tuesday. I am not sure if that is a U.S release, but yeah. Definitely gonna be buying.
Edit: Damn the soundtrack is a Japan release. Don’t know if we’ll ever get it. But it’s 5 disc and will cost around 50$ in our cash

You might not have noticed because the battle is so hectic but, when you interrupt the Sage’s big charge attacks, your summon interrupts his summon also. Their fight mirrors yours, it’s freaking awesome lol

So I tried to be cool and play Bayonetta 1 first, but I couldn’t control myself and skipped to the second game!
Holy shit! Bayonetta 2 is amazing!
I’m playing on 2nd Climax and I’m on Chapter VI or VII. I would have played it more, but my wife keep insisting for us to play some Mario Kart, so my whole weekend was dedicated to the WiiU.
Tried some Tag Climax online and with the CPU, when you bet big (2 stars), the difficulty really ramps up.
Playing with the Pro Controller it’s a little weird after so many years with the PS layout, but I’m getting used to the analog sticks on the WiiU.
And it seems that the timing for Witch Time is different from the first game, I have the impression that you need to press Dodge a little earlier.

I got two more characters to unlock.
Tag Climax is fun as hell. I saw on a forum board thing that there’s niggas who rage quit on tag climax lol. I ain’t gonna lie, a few times I lost by like 10 pts and if I lose hella I get a little irritaed. But like in Tag Climax, rather you win or lose, you still getting paid Halos in the end of it all lol.
Gonna do 3rd Climax. Then probably go back and try to do all the challenge things and find all the LPs. I might speed run 3rd climax because looking for shit runs up the time.
Also came to a conclusion that I think Bayo 1 and 2 truly are separate experiences like I stated. Because Bayo was pretty much perfect as it was just needed addiontal polish, thats all Platinum needed to do. It’s hard to improve on this types of games I feel, because essentially all the mechanics you need are in the first game. Like for example from DMC 3 to 4 main additionals was the game was sleeker, Devil Bringer, and style switching on the go, new weapons. Which essentially is all you really need to offer a a diff experence.
So I still think it comes down to preference. I think in terms of playing through, Bayo 2 is more fun, but I think Bayo 1 had better plot presentation, and a more climatic finale. Because Bayo 2 was pretty straight through and through. So yeah definitely unique experiences so I can definitely see my self going back between both games, and trying to 100% both of them this time around. So much for getting my backlog done
But im interested into hearing other opinions on the comparisons between both games once you others fininish both or 2 if you beat 1 alredy. But I see on forums that some of the strong sided preferences are beginning for each title.
