Honestly getting a WiiU just for this game alone is retarded. I already have a WiiU, I never had a wii so what sold me on the WiiU is the backward compability with wii games and the fact I haven’t played any Mario or Zelda game since the Nintendo 64.
As much I want to support the genre I’m not going to buy this game the day 1, too expensive getting pro controller + the game.
Got the game, and fired up Bayo 1 first. I tried out the Samus costume. Not sure how to use the morph ball…maybe you have to purchase it?

I bought a WiiU with Mario Kart 8. I’m planning on playing Wonderful 101 and maybe some Wii games too, especially Super Mario Galaxy 1 and/or 2.
If that doesn’t work out, I can sell my WiiU after I’ve played the shit out of Bayonetta 1 and 2
If Bayonetta 2 sells well or at least gets noticed (the reviews are definety helping on that), there’s the chance that some other publisher (or even Sony) paying Platinum for a third game
My last Nintendo console was a SNES, that I got in '93 (I guess) and sold in 97~98. I skipped the N64 (bought a Sega Saturn then a PS1), GameCube (PS2) and the Wii (PS3)

Hey, how’s that Bloody Fate anime? I know I should get the full experience by playing the game, but is the movie worth picking up as a primer of sorts? Last anime adaptation of a video game I saw was BlazBlue: Alter Memory and that was fucking terrible.
All gamestops in my area either got low stock or no stock aside from preorders. I’m determined on geting that 2nd copy. To support and as a backup in case my amazon order is missed. I should’ve requested today off to play lol

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the WiiU is region locked, right? You can’t actually play the European version on a US console, correct?
I was tempted to call out of work last night for the midnight release at the Nintendo World store. I partly regret not going. Oh well. So far the game seems fun and gave me a nostalgia kick from playing the first one. Can’t wait to come back home and continue. Got the last copy on hold at Target. They just opened and hour or two ago and went through their shipment already.
For Wii games (I didn’t have the Wii last gen). Sin & Punishment: Star Successor is a MUST! Not having that game in your collection, is the definition of fucking up.

I got the first print edition. I would have liked to have kept unopened but I don’t have the money for another copy of the game(s).
Really hoping it sells well enough that we get a sequel in the future.
How is the First print? Was considering getting it just because of the art book and looks of it.
Game is dope. In the beginning, watching the cutscene for Level 1. Feel bad for the people here that can’t play it.

Gosh, is the initial setup of the WiiU this bad?
Everything is sooooo slowww and it takes forever to complete the setup and now I’m looking at a “Dowloading data for update” for what it seems like 3 years and I have a 15Mbps internet (not that fast, but not that bad either).
The only thing that it’s keeping me from going nuts is the fact that I don’t have Bayo 2 anyway… 
I sort of called this a couple days ago in Smash IRC. I went to the store I had my copy preordered and I was the last reserve copy of the game, they had one copy left for walkins and this was at about 2 o’ clock. The store that I work at had 4 copies reserved on the game when I had checked on it 2 days ago and they sent 6. Someone came in and reserved up another copy after I had checked so as far as I know my store only had 1 walk in copy unless they shipped more today which I doubt.
