There’s also that, but if you just follow traditional printed media, you can see that progressist/liberal agenda is more and more influent nowadays and these SJWs are just a part of it.
There was never a need to “justify” the sex appeal of Bayonetta in the first place. Nor should there ever be one.
It’s faggots like you who refuse to accept someone’s artistic expression and instead feels the need to bash it because it does not follow a particular image or set of rules, that results in the discussion we’re having now.
You deliberately came to this thread to wag your dick around and show what societal standards you abide by. Nice job!
We all have preferences, so we’re all **** by your logic. Even if I had the power I would not make Bayonetta cease to exist. I just don’t like her and that turns me off from the games.
I might order that then. I really wanted to crack out on wonderful 101 asap, and was just gonna get an 8gig wiiU, but i can save 50 dollars on this one. I’ll think about it. I dont wanna have to wait 2-3 weeks just to get this shit. Id rather just pay the extra 50 and get the shit tomorrow after work.
Whether you realize it or not, you’re pissing off everybody by stating that Bayonetta or characters like her can’t be taken seriously because of their appearances. According to your previous post, sexualization limits what a character can be.
I’m certain that Bayonetta was crafted to break that image. She’s a REAL woman who faces struggles like every human being. She has a soul and wishes to express herself with guns for heels and demonic hair for clothes.
Is that too wrong?
Unless you know the premise or have played the game, you’re in no position to argue otherwise. No offence but it’s just ignorance coming out of your mouth.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with disliking something. I can say that I find Bayonetta’s sexuality distasteful and people should understand that. I can dislike or refuse to play the game for that very reason and there’s nothing wrong with it. The problem is when people start making ugly presumptions without any real basis.
Dissenting opinins can add a little spice, imo. I loved her look in the first game when I finally played it, and I loved her new look when I first saw it.
“DUDE SHE HAS GUNS ON HER STILETTOS !!1!”. Was my first impression and I loved it ever since, haha. I can see how people wouldn’t jive with that, and I stay faaaaar away from them
As far as looks, I definitely like Bayonettas new design more as well as Jeanne’s. Not throwing dirt on the OG look, but the new one just like super fresh to me. She really out there stylin
Is Bayonetta’s design “wrong”? No. I just don’t like it and will forever laugh it off unless Platinum (for whatever reason) changes it. I wanted to leave a proper evaluation on Polygon’s review cause people want to dismiss viewpoints that aren’t their own. THAT’S wrong.
But I’m glad that at least someone other than a child could contribute to the discussion.
Oh no. You don’t get to backpeddle on this one, homie… You threw the "Bayonetta’s look is sexist" grenade in here, and you’re going to own that shit, dammit.
Polygon was a shit website looooooong before Bayonetta reviews, and much like Kotaku isn’t worth the time I took to type this statement. Trying to dissect any opinion from there is like trying to dissect a lump of shit-- No matter how you slice it, you’re still playing in shit.
Be a man and own the fact that you said something stupid, got called out on it, and let’s get back to talking about this badass action game.
