I’ll second Saur’s videos, but just because they are fun to watch, when it comes to W101. You can figure everything out yourself really with the information the game gives you (which is a lot). Again, they are just fun to watch.
Good luck in finishing it in time for Bayonetta 2. I powered through it but was actually exhausted after I finished it. I went back to it after a break and haven’t put it down since. I’ll be playing this game for a looooong time.

Yeah man for me, I just didn’t want to come across spoilers as I really liked the aesthetic of the entire game, and it was second P* game to cop, not a couple years later.
Finished through it, and all I saw was bitching about this and that, even though the game went above and beyond to explain things, before fan made tutorials, lol.
I’ll probably be repeating the process with Bayonetta 2, except you know people are going to spoil shit left and right, and some have already from what I hear.
Bayonetta 2 reviews are up. Polygon is the only place that gave it under 80, citing too much T&A, but it’s been getting 9’s and 10’s everywhere else, thus far.
Not gonna read too much into it though. Each time I’ve played the demo, I love it more and more. The new-ish animations and new moves just look more awesome each time I play it.

But I’m already knowing Bayo 2 is gonna be flames. I played the demo again last night and it just feels more and more epic man. I’m just hyped for that first Lumen Sage fight in thefull game, as well as the ones that will follow. Shit man the wait is killing me. I also got the Bayo movie on Pre order!
The main game and the multiplayer is what is gonna keep me playing this game for a long time. Doing multiplayer to help get dem halos is the way to go and fun. 11 more days. I’m antsy as hell.

Well, playing the main game will give you a decent amount of a halos just playing through. If I remember correctly, I got a good amount of moves and weapons from just playing through it. But for like extra moves, weapons and costumes, you can use the multiplayer for halo grinding as a supplement instead of boss grinding like in the first game.

I wouldn’t nock down the score so much for the sexualization alone, but I can understand what he’s saying. Basically the game isn’t for every action fan like the other reviews are suggesting. Sure, the gameplay is great, but you play as a sexualized character and not everyone is gonna like that. I don’t. I just can’t take it seriously enough to bother.
And yes, we rely on more than just gameplay to enjoy games, otherwise newer consoles with these extra pixels and frames per second would not sell as much as they do.
Don’t get me wrong I think Crash Bandicoot 2 and Smash Bros. Melee are better games than Uncharted and Smash Bros. for 3DS despite having worse graphics.

I don’t think people see that Bayonettas sexualization is more of her just being confident in her attractiveness, and its her manner of taunting enemies. It’s not in the same vein as a DOA volleyball, or Rumble Roses. It’s almost like niggas can’t handle a female character unless she acts like a nun lol
I loved Ellie from TLOU and Fetch from Infamous: First Light. They don’t portray nuns as far as I know.

Yeah, i mean, my girl loves bayonetta, and she will be first to bring up issues of sexism, objectification, etc… at least once or twice a week. When she sees bayonetta, she sees the world of bayonetta first, which is interesting to her. When she watched me play through bayonetta for the first time, she was actually googling angel names, weapon names, etc… while we played, and she loved that kamiya was that deep into his mythology and theology. Shes catholic, so she also loves the soundtrack and christian mythologies in it too. Then outside of that she loves like the little nods to pop culture in the outfits and what not throughout the game.
She just laughs and is like, guys are such perverts when bayonetta does something super sexual, but she also acknowledges it as a strength in her character. Her independence. Bayonetta answers to no one, not even rodin, and her sexuality at times is for fun, at times to taunt enemies (which makes sense that an angel hunter is taunting angels with all dat sexiness), at times to tease other characters in the game. No one in bayonettas universe would dare even trying to stare at her ass for too long without being afraid of her turning around and shooting their dick off.
People are such prudes. I find it astonishing that men are offended by it. The same men who probably love god of war, god hand, and devil may cry cannot handle a woman being as sexy and sassy as she wants to be. For me its refreshing to play a sexy, stylish woman, because male protagonist are usually always so shallow, with the slight exception of Dante, but even now it might be time to clean dante up a bit, and give him some new swagger. If dante had rodin swagger in his next game, oh lawd.
I mean, its not for everyone, thats cool. But unless youre blind and deaf, how can anyone be offended by bayonetta, and give a pass to the plethora of action games with male protagonist who act like dicks, objectify women, etc… all the time. If youre not a fan of any of those games either, and also not a fan of bayonetta, then whatever, its not for you, go somewhere else and discuss the new kirby games for the wiiU or something.

It’s not the same as like some busty bimbo or something. And most of the sexiness is from her attitude. Only bodily sexualization is when she does summons or a strong attack. To pass this series is to pass up the definitely technical action game. Even its tiny cast of characters is very lovable.
