hey guys, when you’re dodge offsetting, what specific strings do you typically go for? I know it’s usually conditional, but my buddy usually just cancels the entire string in order to skip right to the wicked weave to sort of work as an opener and then does combos from there.
I just had rewatched when Bayo said she was gonna bust a cap in Rodin ass. That shit still remains funny as fuck.
Honestly, at first, I thought that that was Bayo’s English VA speaking Japanese haha. They found someone who sounds perfect IMO, though I’d probably still leave it in English. Also notice this:
“That wraps up our blog this time. I think you can see why I’m not hesitant to call this Wii U port a “Special Editon.” This actually isn’t everything new the game has to offer as well—you might see me here again to tell you more in the future!”
I hope there’s something actually interesting and he isn’t just referring to touch controls
I’m actually really bad at consecutively offsetting so I just use it to avoid stuff lol. As much as I love combat games, I am not that great at them. I haven’t S ranked Revengeance or Plat’d Non-stop Climax, and I don’t think I ever will
I haven’t Plat’d Non-Stop Climax either, I don’t really like the mode. Hard mode is the sweet spot imo.
I agree, and actually, I feel the same way about all their games basically. Vanquish is best on Hard too I think. MGR is a little more difficult to settle on for me. Hard is a bit too easy, Very Hard is really annoying, and Revengeance is nuts but you have the ultra high powered parry which kinda makes it easier than Very Hard.
I didn’t get a shot to play Bayonetta.
Is Bayonetta 1 on disc in the US?
Nintendo put up their Bayo 1 Wii U edition Treehouse footage
Yea Vanquish is best on Hard as well. I like Revengance on Very Hard. Revengance mode is weird, Parry is mad over powered, but almost everything else you can do feels really under powered so you (Or at least I do anyway) end up leaning on parry even more then you did before. On Revengance mode I fish for Perfect Parrys cuz it’s kind of pointless to try anything else most of the time. It’s also the only mode in a P* game i debated quitting because the opening chapters is re-fucking-tarded on that mode.
I need to replay Vanquish on hard as well as Rising. I started doing more Rising months ago but stopped to work on my backlog. Which is ironic since I still pickup Bayo to do shit lol. On the topic of other Plat titles, you guys ever play Madworld? I love the hell outta that game
@Smashbro29 they said its gonna be digital here. Which could change if people voice they want a disc since japan and europe and getting discs smh
MadWorld is the shit
You die I get paid, more cash survivin this game. It’s crazy I get more monay buy killin these fools, now ain’t that funny.
Had the change the video, the fuck is with Youtube uploaders making songs 30 fucking minutes long? God damn.
Madworld soundtrack was soooo dope. Especially the final boss theme. Anarchy Reigns sounds was solid too. Shit definitely replaying madworld after I shave a few games off the backlog
Yea Look Pimpin/So Cold is a bad ass theme as well.
Time to vocalize.
Fuck that shit.
I need to replay some Vanquish too, I pickup that, Bayo, and Rising every 4 months or so, gotta get Vanquish back in that cycle. I liked Madworld but I couldn’t really get into it the same way, once was enough. Dat OST doe…
Actually all of their action games have the sickest soundtracks of almost ANY game.
Man I was into Madworld for a quite a while, but it’s highly score based like Vanquish, and if you don’t really really get into the mechanics, the game can grow stale. I played the shit out of it to the point I don’t think I’ll ever go back to it (Not for a long time anyway), but if you can get into mixing and matching the kill combos in order to squeeze out every last point then it could really grab you.
Kreese and Howard help a lot tho, them two dudes are hilarious. Joe DiMaggio really had fun with that game.
Kreese: There can only be one number one in this fight to the death!
Howard: Well, DUH! It’s a mathematical fact that there can only be one number one!
Kreese: For the last fucking time, NOBODY SAID THERE’D BE MATH!!!
Both: I BLAAAME OOOUR SCHOOOOOLS!
Haha, I totally forgot about the announcers. It’s actually too bad that idea didn’t come back in Anarchy Reigns, it certainly would have made sense
Yea there was a lot of stuff from MadWorld i was sad to see not make it into Anarchy Reigns, the announcers being a prime example. They would have been fantastic in muti-player mode online.
Howard: Jack lobs those losers like they were my ex-wife tossing my belongings out the second story window of our house! …Without even so much as a warning. I asked her why, but all I got was the same old “I want to be treated like a woman!” and "You never put the lid down on the toilet!"
Kreese: Aaannnddd we’re back! From the sad epic that is Howard’s life to rejoin Death Watch!"
Howard: "Why can’t you get it up like your brother?"
Kreese: Shut yer trap!
Shit I actually have a copy of Madworld soundtrack. And yeah Plat games soundtracks are very great and fitting. Especially Rising the boss themes were beyond perfect.
Any God Hand players from when Platinum was Clover studios? I bought the game a few weeks ago amd haven’t popped in the ps2 yet.
God Hand is also amazing and don’t let that busta @SWBeta tell you otherwise :smokin:
If you like MadWorld you’ll like God Hand, MadWorld’s ALMOST a spiritual sequel to God Hand, they share a number of mechanics.
