Casa De Bayo - Bayonetta 2

I was simply comparing the views and how ridiculous they are.

regarding the pop ups, my blocker solves that problem without me knowing there was a problem.

I just can’t stand to hear people talk shit about Bayo yet Lollipop Chainsaw gets no flack at all.

And that game really sucked.

I saw the new Bayo 2 trailer, those chain-whip kicks were delicious.

Two different kinds of games. Two different sets of expectations.

not when it comes to sexuality that feminist and random gamers complain about which they only seem to point out Bayo for being guilty of.

that topic.

Probably because Bayonetta is more popular than LC.

I don’t remember posting anything “positive” about DmC but if you cite those posts to jog my memory then it’ll clear some confusion you’ve given me.

You don’t have to play a game to know the story and I was more or less given my subjective thoughts on Bayo’s character design, not the gameplay (I will actually play it very soon). Her design isn’t incorrect, just not appealing to me.

I hated Bayo’s character when she was first shown. Die hard DMC fan I was ready to never play that game. Finally got convinced to try it. Better than DMC4, on par with DMC3, game was just so fun to play it was worth dealing with a shitty anime titwitch slut.

This game will be no different. Too bad I can’t play it ever.

Recently finished recording a playthrough of Bayonetta on the 360. the link to the playlist is in my sig.

And I’ve only successfully (by that I mean earn a decent award) beaten Father Rodin twice.

I haven’t ran through this thread thoroughly, but I ran through some news about why Bayo2 is a Wii-U exclusive from Kamiya who said it was the only way it could happen. All I know is Sega owns Bayonetta, and last year they said that they were only going to focus on producing new games from their most popular IPs (which was about… 4 or 5, including Sonic?) due to their financial situation. I have also heard from mods in the herpderp Sega forums that Sega currently can’t even afford to produce a game for the next gen system. So I guess it makes sense why Nintendo would pick it up. It seems like a really good opportunity for them to flex their console’s library with a quality game developer. I’m just grateful that it gets to see light (and I suppose Sega gets something from this in return.)

I have been meaning to play through bayonetta again. I never even knew there was an extra boss.

I replayed it a couple weeks ago after not ever playing it for a year, god, the game was sooooooo good. I don’t think I’ll get a Wii U (immediately) for Bayo 2, but it certainly gives me more incentive to get a Wii U than the other next gen consoles so far. (Granted, we don’t really know anything about the other two.)

good. someone bumped the thread up.

a vid I made for BAYO1 for those who haven’t played the game yet:

Man this thread reminded me that i need to get on this game again and finish that shooter lvl ASAP!!!

Yeah, it’s been a while since I played the first game and I actually appreciate it even more now. It feels like one of those games you can always go back to and enjoy since you can make the game as easy or challenging as hell.

I did some Pure Platinum stage runs with Jeanne using Pulley’s and Gaze, but now I replaced Pulley’s with the Moon. It’s so rewarding to kill a setup of 2-3 Grace & Glory (or Gracious and Glorious) and getting a Pure Platinum. Pulley’s seemed nice, but it really seems like a double edged sword that protects you but makes it harder for you to understand when and how you get hit by something. At some point I had to take it off practicing against Father Rodin (probably never won any battles without it, haha but losing is learning).

Speaking of challenges, have you guys seen “Bayonetta under extreme conditions”?

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Unintentional double penetration.

^Hell yeah. XLHGladiator is a fuckin’ beast at Bayonetta. He makes it look so easy and is just buttery smooth with his gameplay.

I lost all my damn data and have to start from scratch again… its soo annoying to not have any of my gear like Kilgore or Durga, but I am gaining a new appreciation for the Onyx Roses; those point-blank shotgun blasts are too beast.

and I was so close to unlocking Sai Fung finally…

That bitch needs some stairs.

^As soon as I saw her face, all I could say was… “Oh no.”

Though it’s OT, I can empathize with her about the ad campaign. I thought it was silly to compare the game to a choose your own patriarchal adventure porno fantasy. Maybe it’s because I don’t find Bayonetta to be all that attractive or I haven’t watched enough porn in my time, but none of the men in the game (from the exception of her father) really have much power over her.

When I think of pornographical situations, it takes a woman who is weak and vulnerable and a man who is powerful or “cunning.” The roles could be reversed for the two genders with the main protagonist playing the role the male usually plays, but Bayonetta doesn’t come off as some involuntary penis craving woman… towards these men. Thinking of her being sexual with them seems more awkward than it would be inevitable.

Or maybe I’m just not that attracted to her. Jeanne on the other hand…

This game will come to PS3/360/PS4/720 quicker than you can say Ninja Gaiden: Razor’s Edge/Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Alright…It seems that this didn’t get put in here when it came out 2 months ago so I’m going to put it here now

Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101 will remain Nintendo Exclusive unless Nintendo says otherwise

That is from Kamiya’s mouth.

They will take the money they make with the Wii U version to fund and develop Bayonetta 2: Bigger Ass Edition.

Microsoft funded and published Ninja Gaiden 2, and Ninja Gaiden 2 is available on the competitors platform. There are ways around these issues, and in Tecmos case, they developed the game on the Sigma 1 engine, slightly renamed it, and published it themselves. Boom.

I thought there was anew video v.v
