Nintendo is also publishing the Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden III. Which brings back the blood, dismemberment, and multiple weapons from the first two games of the modern series.
Most people don’t understand Ninja Gaiden is BACK on Nintendo, good fit imho. Gonna wait till all three consoles come out to even think about purchasing one. I wonder what modes Bayo will come out with seeing how NG and GoW went the multiplayer route. Personally I hope they stay away from those gimmicks and focus on the meat of the game. The only platinum game I’m interested seeing multi for is Vanquish.
Inb4 Umbran Witch multiplayer Mushroom arena mode.
I’m gonna need to see hella fighters before I even THINK about touching a nintendo system again. I’m still holding that grudge. If the Bloody Roar franchise gets a rebirth for that system…I might get suckered again like I did for Primal Fury.
Nintendo hopefully markets the shit outta this game…
I want PG to do well… again, Nintendo is the only one that threw out the helping hand…
Yall would rather not see this game be made at all? MSoft and Sony didn’t deem it a worthy cause…
I want PG’s band to be THE company that everyone goes too when they want a game made…
Good money says that DmC will outsell Bayonetta 2. Yes I know Bayonetta 2 is a better game and I’m not gonna deny it but again the fact that its on the WiiU handicaps it big time. So with that I doubt NT/Capcom is worried at all.
this thread title still makes me laugh
HELL no!!! Fuck those idiots. They shot themselves in the foot releasing the SF X Tekken characters early (the Vita version’s only draw was that you could play as the dlc characters before you could on console, and it would have been cause for more than a few people who like that crapfest to buy a Vita and a copy, paving the way for more capcom support for Vita, and games people actually WANT later. now when the Vita version drops, everybody’s gonna be “Meh, already got those guys”), they could have ported the Devil May Cry collection over to Vita, and shut up all dmc fans without ever having to make a brand new DMC Vita game. They don’t even respect anyone enough to take THAT easy way out. They refuse to put Okami, a game that nearly seems to be made with a touchscreen in mind for brush strokes, on the Vita. W.T.F. And on top of that, they REFUSE to give the sf3 series the Vampire Chronicle/Hyper Street Fighter treatment, but they continue to celebrate sf’s anniversaries by trotting out the same old retreaded games. To hell with crapcom. I suspect Corky from Life Goes On is running a large portion of the company with all these dumb-ass ideas they have these days. They’re missing money all over the place cuz they want to make it on their own retarded-ass terms and nobody’s down with it. They need to fucking fold. Go into pachinko and let Namco and Aksys take top slot.
Just for the record…There’s a difference between launch window and launch day/period. Bayonetta 2 will not be a launch day/period game. It’s set to come out next year probably within the launch window which is defined by Reggie as the time the system is out to March. Launch Window isn’t concrete though…that’s a guess on my part considering PG said they’ve actually been working this game for awhile. If it was a launch day/period game it would be out within the week of the launch.
Trash kiddie game with big head kiddie chars with a kiddie trailer with a kiddie game name.
Edit: Kiddie gameplay.
Edit2: Its on the Kid-U.
word. well i guess we will be seeing more DmC next week right. isnt next week tgs? i havent heard bayonetta 2 announced for tgs 2012, but i would like to think they will make a showing. again, last time bayonetta teaser dropped, the game dropped 8 months later, and i think no better time to shine at least a little is by having bayonetta 2 and DmC in the same building showing off, but im sure MGR will have fun shitting on DmC if bayonetta 2 is a no show.
i dont know shit about japanese culture, and business, but i would love to see some american style gut punches when it comes to business and marketing, and have PG just steal the showroom with mgr, wonderful101, and bayonetta 2. 2 of those games will be in the same genre of DmC, and it would be a lovely fuck you to NT and capcom.
im fine getting no gameplay at tgs, but a nice story trailer introducing bayonetta again, some returning cast members, and a little more of that new character would still be dope enough to hold me over.
There was a cinematic DmC Trailer at the beginning of Resident Evil: Retribution…there isn’t a high quality shot of the trailer up yet though.
I guess I’m glad that there’s gonna be a Bayonetta 2 at all. And I’m also hoping that Tecmo redeems themselves with Ninja Gaiden III on Wii U. I just wish Nintendo would get with it and make a real next-gen console with true horsepower, gamer profiles, trophies/achievements, etc. I suppose those are little things compared to the fun of the games, but they’re always holding back on 'em and it’s just irritating that they never go the whole 9.
Like for the Rezzo AV.
i didnt feel like commenting on the new dmc cam trailer, but eh, bored. i just wanna say, its interesting the theme in DmC so far, is no one knows who the fuck dante is. i wonder if thats in intricate part of the story. off the top of my head, the person in that trailer, the soda boss, and i feel one more are all like, who the fuck are you.
also interesting look at dante’s devil trigger. you couldnt see it all, but he was morphing more then just white hair and a red jacket. his eyes were all red and he had like thick red veins on his face. so i guess there is more to his devil trigger in DmC. someone post that trailer in the dmc thread so that discussion stays there. lol
Man talking about DmC in the Bayo thread is pure blasphemy. PLEASE CONTINUE!
The fucked up part is that I’ll probably end up buying that 300 dollar thing just for this game. That’s fucking crazy, but I know I’m going to end up doing that. Motherfucking Nintendo got me this time. I loved Bayonetta 1 too much to not play the sequel.
Will be getting this, since I was going to buy the Kawaii Cutie-Poo WiiU anyway. I’m disappointed though, this game should’ve been multiplatform to appeal to a wider audience. Oh well, money talks and losers walk.
SRK is still the same now as it was when I left. Ya’ll are still free to bad trolling attempts.
I wasn’t going to come in here and add any more cents to this thread but I bet there are people who are worried that being on the Wii U will make this game trash. From my perspective there isn’t any reason why any video game created on the WiiU could be bad because of the WiiU’s controls. Like I can’t wait to play Bayonetta 2 because I know that I have all my buttons that I need and I almost don’t doubt that there will be a Pro Controller option. Even so I can’t wait to have weapon set-ups at the touch of a screen or stats and info about enemies show up as I smash their faces in. But I’ll be damned if we are waggling shit around. But watch, QTEs on the touch screen.
^This conversation was already wrapped up a few pages ago. Ninja Gaiden 3 on the WiiU has delimbing, harder A.I. without any motion gimmicks. Nintendo has already proven that it will give full freedom to developers under their umbrella. Also note that NG3 WiiU edition is MUCH more brutal and violent compared to Bayonetta 1 so I don’t see how anyone can come to that conclusion. Anyway I’m hoping we get some footage at TGS, I know that is a lot to ask but something tells me platinum has a lot to show and this has been in the works for awhile.
For those doubting the freedom Nintendo gives to devs under their umbrella check this out:
