I want Platinum to survive and I want to buy their games. Sadly, their games are appearing on a console I have zero interest in and it’s company I have no love for. I’m a consumer first above being a fan every time. I’m not comfortable supporting a company I dislike because they supported one I do like. I’ll cut my losses and move on to something else.

Fired up Bayonetta for the first time in like a year or so. Put it straight on Infinite Climax mode. Dayumn @ how rusty I am. These ninjas don’t let you charge Pillow Talk at all. Took mad L’s before I got use to it and dodge offset again. :sad:
I never really used lock-on when I was playing this before, aside from using stinger to get to places quickly. Fancy, fancy, fancy shit.
Then why mad that this game is on a Nintendo console. It was dead before and obviously Sony and Microsoft were not going to pay for it even if Ninty did not so just be happy that they are able to survive and dont get a Wii U.I guess I am just different in that I can enjoy a multitude of games and dont have “hate” for any system because they all have games that I can play.
I am pretty tired of people who play Xbox and PS3 only believe they are hardcore gamers. Hardcore gamers are those gamers who have and still play DK and Ms Pac Man all their lives competing for the highest score still
the first bayonetta teaser was feb 2009, and the game came out oct 2009. so yeah. thats just how it is. pg isnt shitty like all the other companies and show a teaser, then take 3 years to finish the project they just started and have no vision on at all (cough, capcom).
this game is most likely almost done. theyre just adding finishing touches and have definitely been working on it for a minute. not to mention a guy like kamiya and his staff probably already had notes, a story, and a vision of where to take bayonetta 2 before even starting it. so for the most part it was just about making it, and adding little new ideas as time past, but still having most of the core already.

not necessarily. what are wiiU’s day 1 releases, and 2012 releases? i would like to think they would rather build hype for wiiU with other titles people are more use to and a few twist, then within that 4 month frame keep the hype going by dropping exciting titles like bayonetta. although i could see bayonetta as a december release, and a great one at that.
i agree they want bayonetta out asap. thats a great business look, but i dont think they need to break their necks rushing bayonetta to wiiU. the entire group of people who bought the first bayonetta im sure are fully aware of bayonetta 2 now on the wiiU, or will be in the next month, especially after tgs. i think q1 next year is perfect timing for the release of bayonetta 2, especially with DmC dropping around that time, and people making comparisons to that game, and bayonetta 2 easily shitting all over DmC, taking some off the fencers to the local gamestop to just say fuck it and buy a wiiU, and others to start leaning towards the darkside more then they intended. muhahahahaaaa.

sigh. just google yall. it states that bayonetta 2 is a launch title, and nintendos launch titles are considered to be from launch to march 2013. no one is making that up, and no one would. it is a statement from nintendo itself.
and again, bayonetta teaser to its release was 8 months. from now until march is 6 months, and they are going in much stronger then before on what they want to do with the game, so you can 86 a few months. i wouldnt be surprised if it randomly got pushed back, but i doubt it would be a good business move for nintendo. spring/summer release for bayonetta 2. ehhh, i dont know, my gut feeling says no,and im sure they have bigger titles to announce and drop in those months that they dont want to overshadow bayonetta 2. i think winter season is a great release time for it, and it gets to compete with DmC, and the guy who shat on bayonetta more then once.
if i were nintendo i would pull a basic marketing move of combating with DmC, and letting the fact that it sucks in comparison to bayonetta 2 be free marketing, because thats all the internet will talk about. we will see more then enough great gameplay and story breakdown from bayonetta 2 throughout the rest of the year, that will just make DmC look like pissy alley trash.
i bet NT and capcom clinched their assholes tight when bayonetta 2 was announced. im sure some insiders spread the word a little, but they cant be feeling comfortable right now. DmC’s youtube videos are still about 50 percent dislikes, the outrage really hasnt boiled down, people just got tired of talking about it, and nothing about the game is going to be more interesting then what bayonetta 2 will show us soon. bet it. im being completely bias, but that teaser shat all over dmc’s first full trailer with ease, so the difference in creativity is just already so clear.

New game sales can’t dictate how many people are fans of Bayonetta considering the used game market is twice the size of the new game market. I bought my copy used, and after showing it off to some friends who never saw it previously, they got it used as well. If I knew more about PG at the time, I would’ve thrown in the extra 2 dollars and bought my copy of Vanillanetta new.
Bayonetta 2 is not coming out before April. It PROBABLY won’t be out until fall 2013 at the earliest. It MIGHT be 2014!
And Ign states that the **** is not scheduled for the launch window, defined by Reggie as Nov-March! How did I get to that? Take a wild guess…

well thats new to me. link the article, because every article most of us read when bayonetta 2 was announced, and after the announcement were saying it is a game planned as a launch title within the wiiU’s launch window of nov-march. i can literally link you like 5 articles that say that. so maybe ign changed their tune and has some newer inside info, but i havent seen anything on record that states that, and honestly it would make sense to push it to fall 2013, although that would suck and im amped to play a new bayonetta after almost 3 years now.

This game is not coming out Q1 2013. It doesn’t matter what you’d do or what you think Nintendo/Platinum should do, it’s not coming out before Wonderful 101.
