Casa De Bayo - Bayonetta 2

Nintendo isn’t ignorant enough to not notice the rampant piracy that occurred on the Wii. That and how people didn’t even have to own the console when Wii games could be downloaded and run with the Dolphin emulator. One interesting note, the Vita has reportedly already been hacked whereas the 3DS remains both hack-free and no working emulators. If Nintendo managed to figure out how to safeguard the 3DS then they’re going to use the same security to protect the Wii U.

They won’t use the same security on the Wii U unless they’re fucking retarded. I’m pretty sure the only reasons Vita have been closed to getting fully hacked are because Sony sucks at security (lol) and they have a lot more interested people in opening up their devices (because PSP and Vita just more suited for conventional uses outside of gaming most of the time.) Emulators are kind of irrelevant to piracy right now: the Dolphin really does not run many games flawlessly, requires a pretty good computer, and PSP/PS2/GC/Xbox emulators are pretty much shit right now if you compare them to emulation of systems that are before them (PS2 been making some strides though.)

Anyone find a good high res screen cap of the end of the trailer when The Gun Heel stomps down and the bullet casings bounce on the floor? I want it for a Wallpaper. It’s the perfect twin to my Wallpaper from the original launch trailer.

I’d go one further and say one of the best games ever created, but I’m kind of a Punch Out fanboy. :-p

Oh, right, on topic.

Good move by Ninty. Shame no one else stepped up as hard.

Should probably be directing your anger at the following targets instead: Sony, Microsoft, SEGA.

The Wiimote Nunchuck setup is hit and miss but when done right it’s fuckig amazing. Metroid Prime Trilogy has the best controls of any game I’ve ever played.

That’s funny because I’ve been thoroughly enjoying 12 high quality 3rd party titles for my wii

Why are people going on about sales? Platinum games sell like shit on any format (350k bayonetta sales on both platforms in the US is not good), clover studio games also sold like shit. These guys make great games but they don’t make money which is the bottom line for many of the publishers right now.
If nintendo are willing to foot the bill for even more games like this (judging from their partnership with monolith and temco it looks like they will) I don’t see how you can hate them for that.

Well truthfully 90% of the people raging about this probably didn’t buy the first Bayonetta and just using it as an excuse to bag on Nintendo. There are a large segment of fanboys that hate Nintendo. They’ll use any and every excuse they can to rage about anything Nintendo does. Last week they were probably taking pot shots at Nintendo for lacking exclusive “mature” titles and this week they are pissed because Nintendo secured an exclusive “mature” title.

Bayo moved almost 2m on both platforms, of which 1m were in the states.
Let’s not spread misinformation any further, there’s enough of that to go around with psycho josh&cie

No, I’m not joking at all. You would be able to enjoy Bayonetta 2 for $30. It’s not about a money issue with me, it’s about the games. The only problems I’ve ever had with Nintendo were the N64 and the Wii and now the Wii U. Well, at least until they have some more games for the WiiU that I want. I have only ever wanted to play 1or 2 games on the Wii and those were Smash Bros Brawl and LOZ Twighlight Princess. But LOZTP came out for the gamecube so I got it for that system. After that I wanted to play Oboro Muramasa and nothing else really. Motion games just doesn’t appeal to me and granted that a majority of the games aren’t like that, I just feel like the PS3 and 360 just have better games. Now I didn’t buy the Wii for just one game just like I’m not going to do the same for the WiiU. The only reason I wanted to pick up a Wii and a used one at that is because it could be modded. also, 4 games does not make we want to obligate funds to a gaming system. It usually takes me about 6 months to a year before I buy a new console. Not because of money, but because I want to see what games are going to be available and who is getting what franchise should shit go exclusive.

“BAYONETTA 2 COMING OUT FOR WII-U MEANS IT’S GOING TO HAVE THAT WAGGLE BULLSHIT MOTION CONTROLS”

Please, please let me see this statement. Sustenance.

Wii U is getting Bayonetta 2 while the Xbox and PS3 is getting the new DmC.

Who’s the “child’s console” now?

Zelda games yes, No Mercy yes (all the others were shit IMO), SSB yes, Starfox yes, and Sin and Punishment. I almost got a N64 for SSB, but I didn’t. Out side of these games, there was nothing more that I liked on the N64. I’m not hatin, I’m just saying that the N64 and the Wii did not have enough games to make me want to buy the system. As a matter of fact, I didn’t get an XBOX untill it was modable. I had no intention of getting one. Halo and DOA3 were the only games I liked on that system at the time. A few other things rolled out at the end of that systems life, but it still wasn’t enough for me to support it. I am behind the PS3 and 360 all the way though.

All I’m saying that there is evidence that Sega’s p canceled it, and pg made a partnership with Nintendo before Sony/Mircosoft wanted the project.

and there is evidence of it exclusive as of right now. Unless something changes.

Being disappointed that a game you really like is most likely going to be a Wii U exclusive makes you a man-baby.
Ok. Aight nigga.

Okay? Who cares? Why are you telling me this?

That’s right, the correct answer is Wii U! You win a new dinette set.

I would trade DmC’s existence and of everyone’s involved in that shit for Bayonetta 2 on every console.

who wouldnt?

A lot of people like me who are looking forward to DmC and will be buying a wiiU at some point.

Naw I most def had a problem with the 64.

Nintendo went from having one of the most GDLK gaming library with the SNES to the 64 because of the storage medium they decided to go with. 64 was the first sign they were in it for the mass appeal/children’s market, hopefully WiiU brings it back to the SNES days with these decisions. OoT is a good game though…
