Nintendo burned my ass for the last time: you buy their system because of ONE serious game being exclusive to their system (Gamecube Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, anyone?), and that’s the LAST game that that system has that you want. You’re sometimes buying bullshit games for it because other people (who haven’t grown out of cutesy kiddy shit) liked them, and end up returning all of them except that one game you bought the system for. Fuck them for doing this again. So many people are going to fall for it, and N will leave them high and dry afterwards.
i know youre joking, but that would be a horrible idea. lol. thats going further out of your way to support bayonetta 2 then just copping a wiiU, settling with it, and playing dat bayonetta 2.
i love how dishonest gamers are and trying to maintain their ego more then necessary. like son if ya money is tight, and is looking to be tight for a hot minute, and 400 plus tax for bayonetta 2 is not even in the 6 months from now realm for you, thats fine, just fucking say it. thats why you mad son. its not about broke gamers vs rich gamers. im not rich at all, and by all means do not currently have 400 plus to drop on no fucking wiiU, but im willing to put money aside extra for this to make it happen in no less then 6 months, and no more then 8. im fine being a couple months behind on bayonetta 2, as long as i get it, and i see at least 4 other dope ass titles i wanna get too for wiiU. im in no rush.
that above paragraph wasnt meant for you, im just speaking in general. cause real talk, if they said bayonetta 2 is a ps3 exclusive, i would be even more pissed off. I FUCKING HATE PS3. even though there are some titles im like, yo, i gotta find a used ps3 sometime next year to peep these (unless they have a ps3 emu, then i just need a new pc. lol) , i still do not like ps3 at all except a couple exclusives, and i would still have to shell out like 300, maybe mid 2’s if i copped a used one and bayo 2.
at least out of this, i get a wiiU, some good entertainment at the crib for casual gamers who love nintendo anything, aka women, and i get ng3, hnk2, w101, and bayo 2 out of it.
Your avatar is of My Little Pony you hypocrite.
And why would you buy a Nintendo console if you don’t like there 1st party games which are of really high quality (Wind Waker and Metroid Prime) and I got BR: PF aswell and it really wasn’t that great, quite good though but not great, BR2 was better. It just sounds like your getting mad at Nintendo because you’re an idiot due to the fact you bought a console for one game
“Bayonetta is a brand that we want to see become stronger, reaching the hands of more and more gamers.”
Uhhhh……
The majority of people in this thread wouldn’t be able to keep a game development company up for a months.
That sums it up right there. There’s no reason to buy a Nintendo console if you don’t like their first party games, because in the end, that’s all the system is going to offer you. Nintendo suckers people into buying their piece of shit with the statement “oh there’ll be plenty more hardcore games we promise teehee enjoy this in the meantime” and they inevitably fail to deliver. Once PS4 and the new Xbox come out the Wii U will be left in the dust and will only have first party games to offer while all the third parties go to the other systems. Bayonetta 2 will either go multiplatform, or they’ll just take the sales hit and ditch the franchise altogether.
Lol the wii u is launching early, and isn’t much more powerful then the current systems.
Wii u’s main controller is something non traditional
Anyone feel history repeating itself?
I don’t dislike nintendo.
I don’t think you guys repeating butthurt makes you look ay less ass backwards retarded then the people bashing nintendo.
I bought the wii for a host of strong original first party games, I was left disgustingly unimpressed.
Most of the drive to buy nintendos stuff is first party stuff, its not a weakness, its a strength of their first party stuff.
At this point its done.
Bayonetta sigma better come out because I really don’t have interest in the system, but that makes me a nintendo hater.
And no ones discussing the second game because, its bayonetta its more fun to just let it play out the speculate, the best part about bayonetta was how campy and carefree it was.
The ignore function is fucking amazing, if you don’t like somebody…use it. You won’t even be able to see their post, and it’s difficult to even look up their profile.
So…Um…use it
As far as the story goes, Platinum games explain exactly why Bayonetta’s final summon look likes the final boss? And will they explain the mystery of Rodin’s power , cause his background legitimately could be a good spin off.
Should’ve been called Swag Fung.
balls… i so don’t want to buy a wiiU
Silly Team Ninja, going Mitt Romney on the “People don’t want to see violence and titties anymore” to “Violence REBORN!!!”
you do realize there are much more nintendo wii owners, and ds owners who are more likely to cop a wiiU, then there are ps3 owners and xbox360 owners combined right? bayo2 being on the wiiU is definitely a bummer to my pockets, but whatevs. i already see a few killa games i want that can occupy my time enough to justify the cost in the long run. but besides that point yeah, if they could pull almost 2 million on bayonetta 1, and get a 10/10 in the one japanese mags, and tons of 9 out of 10’s in america, with only a group of ridiculous asexual nerds disliking the game because of its sexuality and guns on her feet, i think they can pull at least that same amount with a game that will of course be better, and on a console that will most likely end up reaching to more consumers then the current ps3 and 360 community combined.
not to mention if youre a fan of hack and slash, the better ng3 will be on there, and wonderful 101 looks great and is a pg game, plus more to come im sure. im not a nintendo crack head by any means, but lets not front like nintendo isnt a huge name, and bayonetta 2 isnt going to be a greater game then the first, which the latter will inevitably lead to tons of new and old fans getting it. imo at least.
You do realize that games in the nature of Bayonetta or any game geared towards the core audience have never been successful on the Wii. Madworld, House of the Dead: Overtkill, The Conduit, Fragile, and not a single success story in neither of them. You know what was a success on the Wii? Garbage like Carnival Games, The raving Rabbid games and EA Active that sold in the millions. The huge install base don’t mean shit if games like this never been successful on the console.
Oh, so you’re under the impression that lightning is gonna strike twice for Nintendo…I’m not that optimistic. Ever hear the saying “Everyone has Wii but nobody plays it anymore”? Granted, gaming is short attention span theater so people might have forgotten about the past 2 years of the Wii’s abysmal selection…
The Wii-U might do okay, but I think people are gonna be a little gun shy once they start to reminisce about the 4-5 hours of fun they actually played the Wii before it turned into a dust collector. Honestly, I’d be really surprised if Bayo 2 manages to sell more than 500,000 copies on the Wii-U within a year. Wii may have a much larger install base than PS3 or 360, but that’s the Wii, not the Wii-U. U is completely unproven right now.
Those games sold poorly mainly because they were completely garbage. And even, they still had “decent numbers” ranging from 500k-700k. They weren’t really AAA super high budget titles, so I’m not too sure about how profitable they were, but I would guess they must have been since they actually got sequels.
But anyways, the reason these games are not doing well outside of quality reasons is because the so called hardcore gamers are boycotting the products released for them because of Nintendo’s perceived “kiddy” image. When an awesome game like S&P2 barely sells 400 000, you gotta stop and take a look at how ridiculous the whole Nintendo hate is. On any other console, it would have moved at least twice that, but the silly wii stigma prevents games for the “hardcore” from blowing it up
Though, I wouldn’t be surprised if in the case of the wii, low sales could actually be attributed to hacking considering how braindead easy it was to hack
Hacking the wii was the only thing that made it worth using
Dude, shut the fuck up. You’re not adding anything to the conversation. We know, you hate Nintendo. Now go away.
The still shot cut scenes where actually done on purpose and took more time to do then the fully animated ones. They had a lot of trouble pulling them off.
I think the perceived “Nintendo has abandoned the core gamer for your grandma” has more to do with it. My reasons for not picking up any of those games (expect House of the Dead) have to do will all of them needing a wiimote+nunchuck combo to play them. I fucking hate that control setup. Playing a game like that gives me a great deal of annoyance. Anything I couldn’t play using a classic controller was a no go for me. Sadly, not many Wii games I was interested in supported it.
It doesn;t work on SRK Black.
I actually really like the Nun-Chuck. some of the most plaid back gaming ever. I can game on Wii using the same position I use to watch movies. That’s pretty dope. Playing The Last Story was some of the chillest most comfy gaming I’ve ever had.
Replying to a post I made pages ago and making me come back to this thread isn’t doing anything to make me go away.
Retard.
