I just noticed that the Sega logo is in the end credits of the trailer…why is it there if they are supposedly not publishing Bayonetta 2?

Like everything about this subject, is pure speculation, we only know that neither sega or platinum games “wanted” to talk about the subject by the time that the rumors started, for all what we know, they probably were considering deals with different potential publishers, explaining why they didn’t talk about the subject, probably nintendo was the highest bidder.
Again, pure speculation, maybe they wanted to publish it, but their current financial situation didn’t allow them, or probably they really didn’t wanted to publish it, who fucking knows.
I think it’s a blessing that they aren’t publishing it. Sega did such a shitty job advertising PG’s games.
The butthurt fans are so fucking hilarious. Honestly, I used to wonder where the notion that gamers were a bunch of entitled children came from, but the more I read some of the reactions over this announcement, the more I’m starting to realize most of the so called hardcore gamers are exactly that.
Jesus christ, get the fuck over it. There are so many ways to get to play this game even if it’s not on a console you have no plans of buying. I’ve played most of the PS3 exclusives and I’ve never owned a PS3.

I’m hoping this game will basically eviscerate any ounce of interest I have of playing DmC after Metal Gear Revengance ripped it to shreds…and the original voice talent to come back.

No More Heroes, Madworld, and House of the Dead: Overkill, all three games have sexual content all uncensored. Jesus conker’s bad fur day was left untouched when it was released. The censorship stuff is pretty much a myth.
Should I mention the only reason Binding of Issac was declined by Nintendo of America was due to themes around religion? And, it was a back and forth battle internally at NoA.

You’re not serious about this and after a few years pass you’ll be back to your old casual gaming tricks again. Go fuck yourself and don’t sacrifice good game franchises in the process.
I’m not too worried about censorship. Both No More Heroes games were originally Wii exclusives and were filled sex and violence ( I love those games). Also the Wii U seems to be focusing on specifically marketing to a broader and more mature audience, with it’s ports of a bunch of M rated titles of this gen’s games and it’s focus on Zombie U being a launch title. Not to mention censoring a game like Bayonetta would be PR suicide since its a definite part of the games style and Bayonnetta’s character. Toning down the sexuality in Bayonetta would be like toning down the violence in God of War, more or less.
They sold terribly.
