Casa De Bayo - Bayonetta 2

Personal experience, but gaming consoles have been more reliable to me than say portable music players. I’ve gone through about 5 of those already (regular ipod, nano, and touches have all died) and all I ever used them for was during workouts. Right now I’ve got a Sandisk clip+. We’ll see how long that lasts, I’m guessing 2 years tops.

I thought Bayonetta was a boring game though.

scuttles out of the thread

Oh my! I just thought about it… having to watch a bad player messing up with the combos and using whatever retarded easy way mode with the controller in order to beat the game. The horror! o_O’

And it’s so sad to have to watch a game rather than experience it. This exclusivity cannot last for more than 6 month…

we need a super lawyer…

we need… Ultradavid!

… And when the battle raging around you reflects the battle within, the only path back to the light, is through Konami.

The first batch of Wii had a lot of problems. Some of the bricks actually resulted in an update from Nintendo. My fat PS3 is still kicking too actually (never had a problem), but I hate the D-pad on the six axis and the dual shock controllers. It’s not 360 bad but it feels like a step down from the PS2, and my recent PS2 controllers all feel way shittier than my PS1 controllers did when it comes to the pad…I guess they changed something.

The hype for the WiiU isn’t as high as the Wii which is a huge problem and plus I can’t see myself getting a WiiU for just one damn game. Bayonetta 2 unfortunately is gonna end up like TvC with subpar sales regardless of how good the game is.

I need that b…:(…thank you.

just release games on consoles consistently dont pull a kingdom hearts having to pay 250+ everytime a new KH game comes out thats just retarded. buying a console or hand held for just 1-3 games is not worth it at all.

WTF?

Platinum’d the game without issue personally

the patch adding the install was great, but it never felt “claw my eyes out” bad…but to each their own of course

Sorry, missed your post at first but I have to agree about if you love a franchise then you’ll support it. Unless of course the game is complete shit, like Duke Nukem Forever but that hasn’t been the case with Bayo 2.

It’s why I supported Sony and bought their overpriced PS3 when after the PS2/Gamecube gen I had moved back to PC gaming. I bought it for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Square-Enix’s Fabula Nova Crystallis (no, I didn’t care when FF13 went multiplat but still kinda care that Versus 13 is basically vaporware now). It’s why I supported Brian Fargo and his Wasteland 2 kickstarter and if Chris Avellone or Obsidian ever announces a Planescape 2 kickstarter I’m all in for that as well.

So basically I don’t truly love a game/franchise if I’m not willing to buy someone else’s much more expensive product to play it?

Well that makes perfect sense

not to get to sucked back into this, but i dont think you can compare bayonetta 2, a game that can and will appeal to a much broader audience then a fighting game on the wii released first only in japan in arcades and on the wii, then released in america post mvc3 being announced, and at the height of a plethora of new fighting games already out, and or were coming out on the more popular systems of ps3 and xbox 360.

bayonetta 2 might only get a small amount of their sales from people buying a wiiU, but in comparison to the what almost 100 million wii owners out there already, and tens of millions of nintendo DS owners out there who are going to get a wiiU, see bayonetta 2, look up the praises of bayonetta 1 from reviewers and players and cop the game just simply because without a doubt bayonetta 2 is going to look awesome as fuck.

so although bayonetta 2 MIGHT suffer from the lack of old fans getting a wiiU who never had the intention to get one before, it may actually end up awesome enough to strike the attention of millions of new fans just like it once did for us when it first came out and had nothing to establish it as good besides the fact that kamiya was working on it.

so in short i highly doubt bayonetta 2 which will have a larger group of people it will appeal to will fail like tvc 1 and 2 did.

The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.

Because nothing was announced doesn’t mean nothing was happening.

There a pro controller for a reason, lol @ everyone mad.

You also forgot that Tatsunoko is not a brand in West sure a few shows made it here but the legal work to use those IPs is a nightmare seriously try to get the rights to use Speed Racer in America.

It’s not proof there is either tho. Your making a claim using hearsay. Get the fuck outta here.

Rumor comes from a reliable source, that’s good enough for me.

Sorry for that, but you pretty much deserved it because you started your post with a lot of shit that no one in the thread has said at all.

Like i said, the only console that i have seen that had a great % failiure was the 360
The 1st ps3’s models had a theoretical rate of 20%
While the Wii had a 10%
Both the Wii and the PS3 had managed to tay around 10% with the most resent models, while the 360 is around 25 to 30 right now.
For Cost of repairs, it really depends where you live, on Latin America there is not a real presence of Nintendo or Microsoft in the major part, while Sony depends of where you bought your PS3

We can only speculate about it, for all the secrecy i bet that perhaps there were other parties involved until Bayo was sold to Nintendo at the end, for what we know sony and micro could be also tried to get them, or not, who knows.

Like i already said, there are too many stuff to get in consideration before saying dumb stuff like that, buying a new console is not easy for everyone. The global economy is not in a good shape right now, so going there throwing money just for one single game is actually very irresponsible if you happen to have other responsibilities, There are countries were buying a WiiU and Bayo would cost more than $600 like it was already pointed some pages ago.
I am fan of Platinum games, i am not fan of nintendo, my money doesnt grow in the trees.

Does it make me a bad person just because my economy says that i would have to buy their game and a new console that im not interested at all? No not at all, i will buy it if they release it on the other consoles, if not, welp, to bad, because at least for now the wiiu is not in the top of my list of what to get, and probably is not going to be in the future if ever.
And even if i end buying one later, my buy wouldnt really matter, since its the inicial sales what are taken in consideration. Not thos who come later in the lifespan when they end with prices between 15 to 20 bucks.

You can be a fan, but that doesn’t mean that you HAVE to buy every version of a game, or every game of the company just because of it.

I’ve decided today I’m getting a WiiU anyways. So… whatever…
