From the tournaments i help put 2gether in Tacoma, to the Dojo way out in Sammamish, there is a lot of traveling we deal with to get 2gether and throw down on some SF, and there is an assortment of problems that face some players, some people dont have a car, some people got expired tabs and dont wanna travel 2 far(inside joke lol), and some people got gas guzzlers(like me),and some people are just anti socials that need to travel alone, anyways from now on, wen u are bout to make a journey and u wanna see if anybody else wants to role wit u, use this thread to meet up wit ur fellow players

I’d think carpooling would either be discussed in a tournament thread, or in a PM… :yawn:
@Metroxylon I see wat ur saying, but this is a clear cut way to announce to people that u are going to an event/tournament(or just simply meeting up) and u dont mind scooping up a few players in ur area that wanna attend but dont have a ride, I had a chance to talk wit players from all over about it and there is HUGE miss communication so i made this thread so people can be like “yo im going to olyimpia for a get 2gether on sat, whos down to come wit me?” see wat im saying now??
yeah i think this is a pretty good idea,cus when i made it out to game clucks for the tourney play thing last weekend terrance couldve rode with me,but the info just wasnt there,with this thread it should be a lil easier
honestly, i dont see a point of this thread, since people who would be willing to scoop up others would hit up people on facebook, or irc, or through pms. i roll a minivan, and drive down to federal way weekly, but im not gonna tell every nigga in the world im doin so, when i do it

@Messatsu Orochi its funny u mention Facebook, a lil conversation started up @ the Dojo on it and its crazy how ALOT of players have 1 but rarely use it, the 1 thing for certain is just about everyone in the community is on SRK

I think it’s for people that aren’t so in the loop. Yeah people who have everyone’s phone numbers/IRC/AIM/facebooks are gonna find rides. What about these new peeps that don’t know anyone?

Me and Dylan live in kent and we take turns every week driving to the dojo/gameclucks. if anyone wants to get into this rotation and drastically reduce traveling costs let us know!!

Yeah, this thread has a purpose in getting those people we don’t all know that well out to locations.
