I’m not claiming the original was a masterpiece but lets look at the"new take"for a objective comparison. In this adaptation hank pym is a 80 year old man, tony stark will be responsible for creating ultron and scarlet witch and QS aren’t mutants or related to magneto…these details alone are enough to tell me this will be a fucking piece of fucking tit shitting shitty shitty crap. Given how marvel decided to adapt mandarin and the extremis plot…why would I hold out hope this will be any good?
As opposed to the gritty violent vibe of the comic instead this story will be some comedy family centric film in which ultron will probably be a actor…ha ha ha the kids will love it!
False "all new x-men"is good and so is uncanny x-men and wolverine and the x-men.
Great movie, pleasantly surprised by how much they pushed the politics and morality. Movie needed to be better paced, first half went by very quickly then slowed down too much till the finale.
I noticed Black Widow was wearing an arrow for a necklace, that was a nice touch. End credit scenes weren’t anything special. What was up with the dramatic music when Buckey was looking at himself in the museum? If anything that scene should be positive

Good flick, gsp didnt annoy me as I expected he would and the WS was bad ass. Felt Falcons scenes were a lil forced and Black Widow was a little out of character but overall though it was a pretty sweet movie. Good to see Cap fighting at a level we wanted from him.
Well, my SRK bretheren, I already went to see this movie today (hey, there ARE some advantages of living in Mexico…this movie has been in theatres for a week now!), and I must say…this movie is fuckin AWESOME! Fuck all your doubts stemming from Iron Man 3 or Thor 2 or whatevs, THIS is the movie to see to get you pumped for the Avengers 2. Action-packed all day long, interesting twists, and badassery even coming from boy scout Cap.
[details=Spoiler]HYDRA slowly taking over SHIELD ala MGS Patriots style was pretty intriguing. Obviously, you could pretty much tell from the trailer that Robert Redford was gonna be the bad guy in this one. Still wanted more Red Skull though. Is Hugo Weaving still blackballing the franchise?
Bucky was pretty badass as Winter Soldier. I do agree that he isn’t THAT vital to the plot as to have the whole movie named after him. Still pretty good show when he was on screen. Duels with Cap were epic shit.
Didn’t buy Nick Fury dying for an instant. Gotta say, Fury was also pretty cool in this one.
One of the HYDRA agents namedropping Dr. Strange as a possible threat…hmmm…
Quiksilver, Scarlett Witch, and even Baron Strucker all making cameos in the post-credits scene. Extra scene just has Bucky visiting the Smithsonian to check on his profile[/details]
All around, if you were by chance disappointed by the last 2 Avengers phase 2 movies, go check this one and NOT be disappointed. Hype that shit!
