We got through Dark Knight Rises without a real Robin. I think we can get through a trilogy of Cap movies without the dude whose power is that he owns a hang glider. Cap has had a big enough supporting cast throughout the years that I think they could’ve brought in somebody less-dated than Falcon.
marvel hasnt steered us wrong yet…i have full faith in them at this point.
Cap’s supporting cast are usually lesser heroes and notable shield agents. Falcon is a hero that’s closely associated with Cap so it makes sense for him to show up in the movie. If not Falcon it would have been Nomad, Hawkeye, U.S. Agent, etc.
Yeah, looks good so far, especially with the Falcon not looking as ridiculous as he does in the comics.
Batroc (played by GSP) is also supposed to be in the movie, and hopefully his appearance is given the same treatment.

what’s worse is that in the comics, Falcon has control over birds…effectively making him Marvel’s Aquaman. we can only hope they don’t include any of that in the movie…
When it comes to the Avengers he is mostly a background character. In Cap’s books he’s his foil. He’s the Cap’s opposite with a MERICA type attitude and a total government tool. The last time I seen him appear in something was in Omega Flight
i don’t recall them mentioning U.S. Agent/Johnny Walker in the movie.

btw the elevator scene in the trailer…the dude in the front bothers me…his face i dunno if its like a mask or just a shit load of makeup but it looks so off.
I am hype for this movie. I really enjoyed the 1st one. Hopefully they have more hand to hand combat in this one. Winter soldier looks BADASS.
