KK I need give everyone a heads up. Monday I found out that the venue I had in mind might be closed. Wednesday it was confirmed. Since then, I’ve been in the process of booking an alternative venue. Both are close to chinatown, and so the situation isn’t all bad.

The biggest changes will be these:

start and finish times (both dependant on venue)
hotels you may have booked (we’re actually not all that far from downtown, but I’m not sure if there’s closer ones available)
games available:

since the cave is closed, the tournament is now 100% console. I’m hoping to find a laptop for xmen+mvc1

but A2, A3 aren’t on cabinet.

MVC2, CVS2, 3s will be console, but A2 and A3 if people still want it to happen will be console now. XvSF is sadly on laptop

Monday I will hopefully be 100% on location, I just wanted give everyone a heads up on whats happened.

There better be some good restaraunts in china town. Places that have MAC SAUCE.

I figured this would happen. I can only assume it has to do with the University’s reading week closing down everything. It’s the primary reason why I didn’t book a hotel for the GTASF well in advance like I normally would.

the guy i talk to rents his place from the university. and the university is in fact open, it’s just that because of reading week, untimely repairs have been scheduled in areas surrounding the cave. which unfortunately means that the cave is closed. this all happened outside the control of the owner.

unfortunate, but shit happens and we deal with it.

Fair enough, drop a line when you know what’s good for the changes. Also, if you need extra equipment because of the lack of cabs please let me know and we’ll try to work something out.

if any one has the memory card data for the rain level and the exploded Japan stage for Ps please bring it… it seems ottawa is too busy beasting to get more stages… cause god i hate that blue square background… im not training im fighting!

for hotels, I’d cal lthem all up and give you my best guess at price/quality ratings, but I’m too busy.

also, I would not complain about extra TVs/Consoles being provided. If it’s not too much trouble, every extra TV that might come is that much less pressure on my back.
