I bought CFE also but it would have been better for me to take the money, grind it up, roll it together with some meat, cook it in the oven, boil some speghetti, heat up some tomato sauce, and have a $40.00 dinner.
it’s like samurai showdown, guilty gear, and dynasty warriors some how had a three way and made this retarded baby…
it looks very boring, but i guess i’d giveitachance.
tian, as you requested, it has been done. I closed the other thread.
i missed the location test in ikebukuro so i didnt have a chance to try this game out…the few ppl who ive talked to about this game in jpn have mixed feelings on it. but that was just a few players, i dont know how the majority of japan feels about this game. there is still 1 more location est coming, no? hopefully arc will clean this game up between now and then, because the last thing we ned is for another game to fade into obscurity. i can see that the lot of you guys are really putting effort in trying to blow this game. so yeah get hype or something. hopefully the game will be good and that we can give it a try.
Geezus, I haven’t seen so much hate on a game in a while, especially one that nobody has played.
I don’t hate the game–in fact I want it to succeed. Even if I never play it.
I just hate naive fanboys.
if the game doesnt have SF in the title, except it to get shitted on by the majority of SRK at first. :looney:
thats what im thinking. I figured they’re missing a zero at the end or something.
it needs more air combos.
Capcom is only the publisher right? Then why ppl keep talking about this game as if it was developped by Capcom?
For now, it looks like Cross is just another ArcSys fighting game that is just using a random Capcom franchise. From what I’ve seen so far, it doesn’t seem that Capcom is really involved in the development of that thing, or else there wouldn’t be game mechanics like one-hit kill moves.
The role of Capcom in this project is probably limited to providing character designs and assuring the authenticity of the BASARA series.
So to my eyes Capcom is simply putting its name on some fighting game that the company didn’t even work on just to boost sales or sumtin and take advantage of their reputation… screw them.
Oh and the game might be good. What I dont like so far is the pacing of the battle, and the Enguns don’t seem to be involved enough to my taste.
BattleFantasia looked much better than this.
Capcom is also doing the music
I’m actually looking forward to this a lot, although like Hokuto no Ken I might want to get into the backstory of everything before the actual game comes out.
Waiting for Nobunaga to be shown in videos so I can see how he plays.
I’m going to miss the vibe of the old thread, but I guess this is where talk about the game is now.
@ kenmastersX: As with Hideyoshi I’m hoping Basara X Nobunaga is faithful to the source games. I think most of his skills can be adapted easily to specials and supers, and since he has some badass skills I’m crossing my fingers So far Keiji has been my least-favourite adaptation, but we’ll see where things go from here.
@ sengokubasarx: could you add a link to the original thread on the first post? I know there’s a bit of off-topic discussion in it, but there’s also a lot of good material that (mostly) CyberAkuma would have to repeat in this thread as well, so it’s easier just to send people to the first thread.
Some elements in the game remind me of HnK.
The assistant thing looks kind of cool.
But you can’t really fully judge a game from its beta.
I remember back in the HnK beta, people thought that the combos were very limited in the game and that you couldn’t do shit in it. That all changed soon after the release.
I’ll support it if it’s good, though it doesn’t seem interesting to me at all right now. Regardless if it’s good or not, I’d be playing it if my arcade got it…
I’m really hoping they put a wallslam limit to prevent the game from becoming too much like HnK.
Date and Hideyoshi look fucking beast… I can’t wait to play this game.
whats the possessed girls name? nobunagas wife
Possessed girl= Nobunaga’s sister; she is Oichi
Nobunaga’s wife is Nouhime; she wields dual pistols and a chaingun.
i really hope that’s the case because right now, the game looks like crap. i’ll make my full judgement once it comes out and there’s vids of real players playing this game on youtube.
cool thanks alot
LOL! Nice, the game is mine now!
Get hype!!! I can’t imagine what happen if the MVC2 peeps put their hands on the new Sentinel:looney::looney::looney:
