While we’re at it let’s remove other unique parts of characters. You know, in the name of streamlining them.
No devil trigger for Dante or Vergil
No stances for Wright
No items for Hsien Ko (this might actually be a buff)
No leveling up for Frank

Yea right, the day Capcom nerfs a much needed-to-be nerfed character, (Dormmommu, Sentenal, M.Bison, Balrog, Seth, Geif, Hugo, etc) is a day a nyan-nyan cat flies out of my ass yelling, “Ed, Edd, and Eddy is coming back with another season!!!” -__-

People need to stop bitching about Dark Phoenix. You can literally take her out in a few hits; you just need to know how to go against her. From what I recall, her health’s even lower now, so the job’s much easier now. Besides, as aforementioned, people like villains. Plus, her having low-health balances out all the other buffs, she has; if she had health like the Hulk and still had her buffs, everyone would be using her. That wouldn’t be fun, would it?
I’m trying to imply that these characters need to be nerf just a LIL more. I’m just saying a would rather have a character that needs to be nerfed (ZANGIEF) then have a character that didn’t need to get nerfed (GUILE, YUN, YANG)

The problem with Dark Phoenix is that very few people actually like the experience of playing as or against her. The best thing about her is the game of getting her out; once she’s out, it just turns into a boring one-sided match for the opponent, although it can be exciting versus a few characters (Skrull).
I wouldn’t mind a Phoenix without the Dark Phoenix idea, provided that she have an appropriate amount of health. However, I think it’s best to be able to play either way. That way, people who like Phoenix the bombshell can have Phoenix the bombshell, and people who just want another pixie character can have that instead. More options is better than less.
Of course, adding one more character to the game would be awkward.

You’re asking for nerfs for characters that are upper mid/lower high tier at best, off course people are going to call you a troll.

sorry for doing that. its just your posts make no sense with no need to argue. dark pheonix is in the game. deal with it. people have dealt with it. and in umvc3 it is alot harder to be a pheonix player (lol at champ sitting in the corner with level 3 xfactor dark pheonix scared against hawkeye). and removing a character and giving a character said buffs just sounds dumb. i liker her. she is hype. i’m starting to think capcom KNEW this was going to happen and let the shizz ride. and nerf zangeif and buff yun, yang, and guile. WHAT!?!

Yun, Yang, and Gulie are fine, (Well, Gulie gain no meter from his sonicbooms anymore)thats besides the point, I’m just saying that maybe there should be a input for his 3-Punch spinning move that is ultra, and projectile free, or something like that
