Capcom Responds To BBB Complaints: No Distinction Between DLC And Disc-Locked Content

If not for people hanging the game we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Frankly, if people are so pissed and annoyed with capcom they really should just leave… not being cruel or anything, but sticking around and supporting a primarily Capcom based community when you’re oh-so-pissed about the company’s behavior is asinine.

what a bunch of whiny bitches complaining about the delivery of DLC. gtfo.

Two sides calling each other idiots thought I was in the Trayvon Martin thread.

But wait a minute…
Cant you pair play in Mortal Kombat 9?

^Yes you can on both consoles.

It’s atleast cool people are putting this company and others on the spot for trying to be sneaky about things.

Look the real solution is for the community and the consumers to stop giving Capcom free passes everytime. Stop paying for shitty DLC. Stop buying crappy games. If you feel you’re getting ripped off or you feel you were ripped off you don’t go back for seconds. Stop buying shitty Capcom products and you will find that things will change pretty fucking fast.

People don’t realize also that that solution actually works. Look at the sales for UMvC3. Money talks and bullshit walks.

Capcom did nothing wrong. They sold us the product that they said they were going to sell us. They can lock anything they fell like locking as long as they didn’t promise it to us beforehand. It is their content; they own it, and we do not.

Even the “True End” thing is bullshit, not because it doesn’t make sense, but because other games have done it before now, and no one cared. People only care because it is cool to hate on Capcom.

Uh huh. So you can pair up in MK9 just like in PS3 yet he says Microsoft doesnt allow it.
Throwing bullshit right in our faces. Nicely done o.o

All of this, and when RE 6, RE 6: EX/Gold/Platinum/Titanium edition, or SFxT:EX Alpha/Super/Turbo/Blah blah blah comes out, I bet that Cashcom’s faithful (again, 95% of SRK) will still gladly hand over dem ends. Like lambs to the slaughter…

I believe that this generation of gaming will be my last. With the way shit’s going, along with the rumors about the next generation of systems having to be connected to the internet at all times, locking out used games, etc., PLUS DLC nickel and diming, it’s a wrap.

Cable and internet providers do their damnedest to squeeze us dry and this gets sent to the BBB. 12 fantasy characters not even promised in the initial package.

Stay free, humanity.

This was my exact thought when I finally found out that Local Pair Play wasn’t there. People make it seem like this is a shit issue, but my brother and I tear up Mortal Kombat 9 together all of the time with the Tag Team Mulitplayer feature.

Capcom is trying to pass the buck with pairing up. MS has no problem with XBL guest tags. People defending Capcom should get a clue though. It scares me how little they know about consumer protection and how locked content schemes are trying to bypass those laws (and succeeding for the most part.) It’s not “cool to hate Capcom.” It’s “cool to get a finished product.”

Well, BBB is a shell of it’s former self anyway…

I don’t know why people are surprised. Capcom has been doing this since SF II. Remember that game? 12 characters were programmed, but only 8 were playable … until championship edition that is …

SF II: Full price for SNES
SF II Turbo: 4 bosses playable + rebalance full price AGAIN for SNES
Super SF II: 4 new characters Full price yet AGAIN for SNES
ST: 1 broken character + rebalance FULL PRICE

Why are people acting like this is new?

Yet we did get a finished product. Pair play problems aside, we got a complete game. 12 characters announced as DLC down the road doesn’t automatically mean the game is incomplete. Capcom didn’t break any laws and they pretty much did a shortcut version of what they did back in the day with SFII and the plethora of versions that we the consumer had to shell 60-70 bucks a pop for.

Lol. SRK is not only full of capcom sheep. Last capcom game I purchased was Vanilla MvC3, a lot of people here are getting fed up with their bullshit

HF and ST are revisions. I have no problem with revisions if it eventually grants you games that are so good that they become timeless.
Why is this game a revision= not legit complaint.
Why is this game still bad= legit complaint.

Capcom didn’t put characters on the cart and say you had to pay extra for them back in the day. I mean I didn’t know a complete game had this many…issues…but I didn’t buy it so I guess it doesn’t matter much to me.

Sf2 boss characters say hi. Its not whether or not that they have done this before, it’s that SFxT sucks dick ON TOP OF the shitty content, and we can’t even get a second release to fix said shit game. Hell, at least in a second release gems had a chance to be removed.
