Capcom: Replays are exclusive to the PlayStation Vita

i think im gonna throw up

No, Seth said it was something requested by the community, and that’s why they “completed it” for the Vita version.

Which, for the most part, is essentially the same thing.

Seth: “People really wanted this! That’s why they have the option to buy a new system and a THIRD version of the game if they want to use it!”

Everyone else: “Why the hell do I keep buying stuff from these people?”

yes i do think any amount of money is a big deal, within reason, but we arent just talking 5-60 dollars ether. mvc3 ce or just reg with jill and shuma dlc $75, umvc3 $45. you want frame data instantly? $22.00 for mvc3 guide, oh wait. umvc3 is out that guides worthless, you’ll now need umvc3 guide, thats another $22.00. didn’t phoenix wright already get patched? well that makes his portion of the guide almost useless. we are now up to $164.00 give or take a few dollars for taxes and thats not even including if you were so inclined to purchase dlc costumes capcom is trying to nickle and dime out of you.

and i do think that this tactic could change the business decisions of capcom. the used game market is massive, feel free too google any of gamestops financial reports and business plans. organization would play a key role. that is why i supplemented my argument with a list of reasons and a suggestion for others, to add their own. A petition and its own thread for the cause would be the next step.

as far as cyberbots is concerned, i can just buy a used copy (for pretty cheap) for my sega saturn, thus enjoying the game.

Don’t be fooled man, that’s exactly what Capcom wants you to think…

im very shocked they went as far as confirm replays are a vita only function :(. as a new player to fighting games since ssf4 the replay function in that game helped me improve and see which tactics were effective and which ones wasnt and something like that for umvc3 would amazing for the xbox 360 and ps3 and really help the game grow more, its also give new players the motivation to learn the flashy combos for there chars and its helps new players find there feet estabalishing a team from the daunting 50 roster.

It also helps players document interesting scenarios during matches such as bugs or glitches and not only help the player figure it out but give capcom data to quickly solve potential problems.

I just got my copy on the Vita, the game looks and plays amazingly well!
