With all the things being asked for im surprised people no one is asking for the old music composers from the older games(MSH VS SF SF3 SF EX Series CVS2) most of the Character themes in SF4 SUCK.

This. The only themes i like are for the older characters. For instance Sakura’s theme actually made me pick her up.

Looking at all these posts in fighting game discussion lately…I’d Capcom would be alright if they had something new announced soon. Preferably something that’s actually good rather than just acceptable.
If a game allows extra inputs it means it has leniency for a move, if the game reduces inputs for a move then it’s a shortcut.
SFIV is known to have leniency and shortcuts up the ass
I don’t play SFIV so I’m not too familiar with all of the inputs, motions, leniency, etc. but older games have input shortcuts too (not as easy/lenient as SFIV)
Here are some shortcuts that I know of:
3S/CvS2: :qcf::d::df: + :p: for Super
3S: :d::df::d::df: + :p: for DP
3S: :f::d: + :p: (Cardinal directions) for command throw
You can do 23623+P even in ST as a super motion.
Capcom did that change in Alpha 1 4268 = 360 but ending on diagonals makes it not count.

sf2 achieved a near perfectly balanced roster with just its 2nd iteration. meanwhile sf4 is on its 4th iteration…and its horribly painfully unbalanced. i understand the roster is 3 to 4x the size of sf2ce…but still though…its on its 4th iteration…it should be better balanced.

That really bugged me with SFxTK (among other things). The Super characters and later on and mostly look great. Tekken characters really impressed me too though Lili could have used less derp in her face. The vanilla cast in sf4 bugged me greatly though. Shotos have these odd looking bodies (can’t explain exactly), Chun-Li has man hands, Blanka’s stomach looks unnatural, Rose’s hair looks like it’s glued together, etc. At least things would get better with most of the later costumes.
A somewhat minor thing is that I really wish Capcom could have tried to make the muscles of the characters flexed and relaxed properly depending on the animation, but I wonder if that’s really all that possible on current consoles. Abel’s arms look like they’ve had several steroid injections in them.
I think that’s possible. The problem is though that Capcom’s lazy [yeah I know, what else is new]. Daigo Ikeno’s artwork just does not translate well into 3D.
My statement was more like a blanket trolling statement to get a rise out of people. But in general, I just do not care about SF4, Ono, MVC3, or Capcom’s newest shitty fighters. I just look at Capcom’s newest games and I get disappointed everytime. I am not even a fan of Third Strike as I hate that game, so I don’t want every game to be like that.
You guys asking for sprites are out of your minds. It’s simply not going to happen. If you want an example that demonstrates why, look at Skullgirls. That game’s sprites are so monumentally expensive to animate for that the game imploded on it’s own development costs and now it’s half the game it was supposed to be. The costs of making a Skullgirls character are so big that the publisher wouldn’t even greenlight the DLC characters because they knew the sales wouldn’t make up for the costs of hiring the animators to do the characters.
