Capcom Going Broke, only $152 mill in the bank

I agree with that first one.
I don’t with the second.
But that’s Ok. Everyone has an opinion.

You can’t patch out shitty PR and shady business practices. That’s my problem with Capcom (and SFxT, to an extent).

I would say I don’t want Capcom to die, simply because of the Monster Hunter Franchise. But I’m tired or waiting for them to throw us in the US some scraps from the Japanese plate. They couldn’t even be bothered to translate the 360 MH to English and bring to NA/Europe…gimme a break.

There are so many examples of Capcom doing things with complete disregard for their fans. I think they deserve to fail.

If any of you honestly think one game would be capable of knocking out Capcom, you’re crazy. SFXT is such a teeny, tiny part of Capcom’s problems over the past four years. The fact of the matter is that Capcom has precisely two IPs that are selling well these days (Resident Evil, Monster Hunter) and even they simply aren’t up to snuff with other major publishers, even looking strictly at console sales.

I thought SFxT was way more enjoyable than SF4 anyways. I’ll give it that much.

The game was destined to be underwhelming. When you have two IPs that are that big, it can never live up to expectations. Didn’t anybody learn anything from those records R.Kelly and Jay-Z did together?

CAPCOM to cut its European workforce by half:

Capcom desperately needs a clue, their expectations are outta synch with reality

They turned Res 6 away from survival horror into some extremely long action game, DmC was welcomed with a wave of hate never seen in an IP before, htf they expect them to do well? Lost Planet 3, shamefully, had zero hype considering how good LP games are.

The fact they must realise they are called DLCapcom for reasons not endearing atm and still decide to make it the focus of their marketing strategy would suggest some of their execs are guilty of substance abuse.

They’ll get a clue eventually. I doubt any investor would let some guy run the company into the ground before they switch his ass out and try a new strategy. Its only a matter of when

he’s overacting to a botched port.

*talks about botched port
*was not even alive when said port came out

Does Capcom get anything from those Milla Jovovich movies? They maybe terrible but everybody watches them.

They shouldnt considering the only things they have in common are zombies and am pretty sure Romero takes all the cheques from that.

man…imagine some kind of NEW NEW dino crisis remake with re4 engine

same story from the first one with added material/character

take my fucking money sirs :coffee:

Still awaiting the true Dino Crisis 3 keeping up where the second left off.

Imagine Mega Man Z (my name) as a sort of Metroid Prime-RE4 hybrid. That’d be pretty cool. Imo.

Added polygons to Regina’s ass. :coffee:

it’s what I have been dreaming of, hell they could keep the graphics at that level without upgrading a thing and so long as it feels like RE4 I would buy it without any hesitation.

I never got around to playing Dino Crisis. Saw some gameplay clips of it and thought, dafuq was capcom thinking? hahaha

One cool fact is that Onimusha 1 was originally going to be on PS1:
