Bucko, Jedah gameplay wise looks EXACTLY the same as he was in all the Vampire Savior games, this includes the upgrade in VS2 and the Saturn VS. And I never he said he was the best, hell there are no real tiers in Vampire Savior unlike other games out there, while there can be some arguments about Sasquatch, that game just depended on the skill of the player. :rolleyes:

EDIT: And another thing, I don’t understand the cock riding of all the Vampire characters, they’re just the same (more or less) from their previous Vampire outings, have any of you guys played any of the Vampire games? Geez, the idiocy is rampant already and the game just came out. :tdown:

I don’t know about you guys but I really like the presentation in this game, the backgrounds and music are a lot better than cvs2, they remind me of cvs1. That Karin reset was awesome as well.

Yes the idiocy is rampant, but they’re also learning how different the Vs games are. Pretty sad but it’s common for regular gamers to only play a few fighting games. This is going to happen until the players see the different fighting styles from Vampire Savior.

While I find it, do you recall which Rolling Buckler(s)? The bouncy one into cat stabby or straight forward into slide/uppercut/neko? Does she have her jump on top of your head and stay there? Too cute…

Here we go. Hanumuumen (I think that’s it, my katakana is rusty, Bison/Ingrid) vs. SAW (Felicia/Guy) (match is c btw). Felicia seems to rely mainly on her chains. Her jump makes it look like she’s going to be the equivalent of Vega/Mai in terms of jump speed. But I never saw anything besides chain->pounce (EX if possible, which did slick damage). Was there any reason they didn’t use any of her special attacks? I can understand the lack of Litterbox Kicks vs. Bison since he was airborne a good bit… but she also used c.hp for anti-air moreso than claw uppercut (if it’s still in).

I’m glad that her dash is the way it is in VS (counts as airborne when attacking out of it) in comparison to MvC2. Her dash seemed hella long too. Standing Roundhouse looks like it’s half screen or better too… yikes!

qcf+K. Each one puts her on the ground at a different time. Stick some out to see what they do. She recovers fairly fast outside of the float back to the ground.

qcb+P/K Counters. Need no explanation.

Lvl 1 Super. Use it for wakeup. Use it for meaties. Use it for AA. Use it for anti-footsies. USE IT.

Dash crossups. (qcf+LK is the best to use since it’s stupid fast)

Moving recovery. Her wakeup rolls give her a huge window of pseudo invul. You think that sticking out an attack as she’s just rising out of that slow ass roll would meaty her annoying ass, but she spends like, a full 2 seconds just going from prone, to roll to standing, and you CAN NOT TOUCH HER.

Can’t help you with Warzard chars.

a couple questions about warzard.

when you do an ultimate gaurd, do you just press any punch or kick button to attack back during your gaurd?

how do you do the OTG hit with warzard characters?

  1. During UG, qcd(b, db, d)+ P/K

Agreed CvS1 presentation was a lot better than CvS2 (blah Kinderdijk makes me ashamed to live in Holland)

Presentation wise, it’s great. I liked both themes for the CvS series; though the gameplay sucks. =p

I like the style of the game. Clean, smooth and nice effects.

I too hope Hauzer is a charge character. I’m best with those.

His fireball is still qcf+p, his charge is hcf+k(someone correct me on this).

His supers are all qcfx2 or qcb.

So is this game 3 on 3 like CvS2 or is it the more traditional 1 on 1 type of fighter?

I attempted to use him once on Day 1, the charge attack is indeed HCF+K. The only charge move he has is D, U+K.
