I really dont think CFJ is that bad honestly, imo some people hate it without even trying it. Just my opinion.
Hot Frog shit is a better game than CFJ so of course a game which never came out would be better than CFJ. Damn Capcom.
CFJ/CFE does seem like crap Capcom threw onto the market to make some cash. But CFAS while it had some effort put behind it probably would have turned up bad since apparently the translation into 3D was more than the developers could handle. Personally I don’t know I didn’t get to play the game, but in the end bitching about something that you haven’t played being better will get you nothing.
Besides the truth is Rival Schools series was probably the last attempt made by Capcom to actually bring something new to the table in 3D but people didn’t give it a chance. Knowing Capcom’s record for scraping games I actually trust them if they say it wasn’t good enough for release.
So you’re all saying that someone said that the beta testers said that the game sucks. And there’s no way we can cast doubt on that because it came directly from the source :rolleyes: If I remember correctly, the reaction from the local test was described as “luke warm,” not outright negative.
To me, it seems the argument is:
CFAS is a crappy game that didn’t get released, so it sucks.
CFJ/E is a crappy game that did get released, so it’s pretty good.
Well except CFJ turned out not to be crappy.
if u think of it cfj is like cfas because there putting all these fighters from their games and putting into one slug fest (lol) but ya thats my opinoin they just made cfas 2d insted of 3d and took out some chars from allstars and put some others into cfj, but cfj is still fun to play not bad just capcom doesnt have to be so lazy is all
this game was lookin just about ok not sure about how it played but i have a feeling it would of bomed out.
So capcom cut their losess and made CFE which i must add is a crap game its just about some fun in 2player i say just.
People who try to defend it are living in fanboy world their forcing themselves to like because its capcom i mean how can you like ST alpha 3s and think CFE is on thoses levels and im not taking graphics or how many brocken characters their are like in cvs2 im on about gameplay also.

So capcom messed up not all their games are hits they needed to make some change of the production they wasted on all stars so did a mugen and made CFE good business really.
Or maybe some people like CFE, I thought it would suck to but when I played it somehow a good fighting game came out. And if you think CvS2 has broken characters, it shows how little you know already.
CFE actually has good gameplay and good character balance.
Most Capcom fighting game fans hated 3D SF games back when 2D SF games were liked. So what makes you think they would like a 3D SF game now that even the 2D SF games are hated?

I think the problem is that Capcom isn’t ready to put the time and effort into make a good Street Fighter yet. Honestly, who cares whether it’s 2d or 3d? They’re still just rehashing and copy/pasting crossover shit together without adding anything new of significance to cash in without having to try. Christ, wake me up when Street Fighter 4 turbo champion edition 5th strike comes out.
yea i forgot about all the radien, dhalsim, ryo, benimaru,king,nakoruru,yuri,kyosuke, chang and dan etc players that are used so regularaly in tourneys and who do really well and even win.

Yep best capcom game by far makes 3s and alpha3 look lame gameplay and graphic wise, cant wait for the sequel.
All those characters have been in tournies and there are people that use them.
In that sense 3S is crappy because all you see is Yun, Ken Chun and A3 sucks because its all Sak, Akuma, Ryu. Your logic is failing yet again.

Dude, thats the best version so far. It totally knocks the pants off of Street Fighter 4 Hyper Champion Fighter Street 4th Dodge.
