Capcom Classics Collection 2 (f/ arcade perfect ST)

nope. tons of sound glitches in CCC2’s iteration of ST.

…fucking annoying, i know.

FMJagguar- How do u know for sure if Hyper SF2 is not going to be in EVO?

I really liked that game, since CE and HF are not in mainstream it was the closeset thing to it. Oh well I guess I am stuck using crappy (who gets raped)old Guile instead of Thomas’s and Tomo’s CE Guile

I don’t know what games are in evo at all, I was speaking about what I see around the scene, I haven’t heard of anyone planning to continue to use AE for practice or for tournaments, and ironically SBO (but that is a whole different scene, and made well after my post). So I don’t see any advantage of having AE over ST now that they are both available domestically for console. I know they aren’t the same game, but in terms of everyone involved in the scene (the companies, the fans, the players) i don’t see AE with a presence in any of those 3 areas.

Of course things can always change, but thats how i see it right now.

Dumb question, as I am mostly a VF player, but why not continue to use AE with some limitations to make it more like ST?

One that comes right off the top of my head is to limit characters to ST and the “Old” SSF2 Characters, disallow anyone to select characters from the CPS1 games, and play as normal.

As I stated before, I do not know too much about SF and the subtle changes that might have occurred between the releases of ST and the ST/SSF characters in AE. Thoughts?

Why not just play ST if you are going to do that? If you don’t have access to ST, that is fairly close though. Biggest difference is throw teching with old characters.

And, IIRC, O.Sagat was uber nerfed in AE.

But with all the PS2/Xbox ST glitches that have been discussed so far, I was looking for a solution.

So does CCC2 work on the 360?

Matt K., please check your Private Messages, thank you.

Got one copy, played for 2 weeks then sold it. for me, AE is good enough
