You have only 14 days left to register online for Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament 7, the Evo Qualifier taking place from May 27th through 29th in Chicago. Online registration is mandatory, and only emergency registrations will be taken on site (Thursday May 26th from 6pm to 10pm, and Friday May 27th from 9am to 11am). Emergency registrants will not been seeded by region, and will simply be placed into a bye in the bracket. If no byes remain, you will not be able to enter that game.
Hotel rooms are still only $69/night. Don’t wait until last minute to book your trip, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all this Memorial Day Weekend.

Early Reviews say Brink is ass… I really wanted this game to be good, but for now I’m going to have to skip it.

Yea, its always better to try a game before passing judgement. Brink so far is a blast, and I’ll always support innovation especially in such a stagnating genre as this.
HOWEVER… The 360 version is hampered right now by crippling lag in every game. If there isn’t at least an announcement about an incoming patch, I may have to return this and join u on PC Kyle. How is the connection for online games on the pc version by the way?
It’s great from what I can tell. The hit detection in this game is awesome. The only problem I’m having is that it keeps crashing every hour or so…

From now on, we will be having a tournament weekly. I’ll usually be running the Street Fighter side of things, but this week is a little special. We will be running an MK9 tourney this time around.
Details
-$1 tourney. Huge money on the line. (lol) If our little group gets a tad more attention I’ll be looking to bump this up to $5 weekly tourneys and at least $10 weekend tourneys should the occasion ever arise. (I’m looking for about 20-30 people as a for sure for those.)
-There may be an additional team tourney (you know, the 2v2 tag match), which will be an additional $1. Time, and interest permitting. More characters means more time which I don’t know if we’ll be able to do.
-Singles tourney will start at 6-630 at the latest. BE THERE ON TIME PLEASE
-Team will start promptly afterwards
Rules:
-Best 2 out 3, all finals will be best 3 out of 5.
-NO FATALITIES unless it’s the match point. I know you’ll all complain, but that’s how it’s done. This is to move through matches more expeditiously so please follow this rule.
-Obviously, anyone performing any infinite parry glitches will instantly forfeit. This is knowingly or unknowingly. Don’t be stinking cheaters guys.
-Play as hard as you can!
