I get the jumping hard kick and standing medium kick connected into a combo, but I don’t get how to “cancel into LP RCF”. Since I have to charge that one, I just don’t get it done and can’t imagine how I could “cancel” into it.
I don’t know how to connect it together.
Please let me know how to do this, I’ve checked out several guides and videos but I lack some basic understanding on how this works.
As you jump, hold back to begin charging. By the time you land after the hard kick, you can have a full charge, but the standing medium kick gives you even more leeway on the timing of when you begin charging. As the medium kick hits the opponent, press forward and light punch. Doing the motion of a special or super as a normal connects immediately starts the special or super, cancelling the lag after the hit. It should look like this
upforward immediately back or downback HK MK XX forward LP
Yes it did! I actually nailed it a couple of times (I think), but Dan (the training dummy) keeps blocking the rolling crystal flash so it doesn’t register! What am I doing wrong here? I actually do get it done until the last part doesn’t go through.
Edit: Ah, after doing it a bunch of times it turns out I had to initiate the rolling crystal flash faster so it would pretty much have completed the input while he is still kicking.
