Can't air dash after the jumping S

I’m trying to do the Clockw0rk loop, so here’s what I got so far.

c.l, c.m, c.h, s, j.m, j.fh, A.D., j.m, c.m, c.h, s, j.m, j.s.

At this point, I attempt to air dash cancel downwards, do the triangle jump, and relaunch. Unfortunately, I can’t even do a successful air dash while in the air. Where’s the timing frame exactly?

You have to have the heavy footdive before the j.s in order for the dash to come out. Don’t know why this is but you must have that heavy footdive in order to dash after the j.s in the Clockw0rk loop.~

I’m having a similar problem and am using the heavy footdive still. I even tried it on pad with one button dashing and it still won’t come out. Idk what I’m doing wrong.

Edit: Nvm, I figured it out. I guess I’ll stick to pad because I figured out an easier way to do it on pad using one button dashing.

so to get the combo he posted in the OP to work, you have to stick the H footdive in really quick before hitting S?

Yes, your have to do something like this to get the Dash after j.S

j.m, j.m, jumping f.H,S, air dash

if you do not hit a heavy footdive, you cannot dash cancel the j.S footdive.
