This has been a problem that just came up for me recently and it has caused me many headaches.
Off and on, I keep getting 80710102 DNS errors when trying to connect to the PSN. My PS3 Net browser works all the while this is happening, by the way. This has become extremely frustrating as of late and, luckily, I think I finally found the solution to my problems…
So, in essence, my DNS hates the PSN. If anyone has had the same problem, I hope the solution(s) in that thread works for you.
Yeah bud all of us TWC people got screwed over, that’s why my DC ratio is 10% in SF4; that’s why i get that same error you get, that’s why I’m thinking of using my 360, that I bought, played one game on and never touched again!
Well, seems like OpenDNS is working so far and my connection seems faster. I just hope that DC bullshit with HDR last night doesn’t happen anymore. At least I could stay connected to PSN.
Frick TWC, their customer service sucks but at least I get free HD channels and a Shotime HD channel with basic.
