I actually play more on XBox Live. I got on PSn yesterday explicitly to play Syxx and Spdr4cr, and while I was there ran into faux as well! It was really cool.

Ah yes i think you won, but am not sure, i just remember having a hard time vs 1 cammy player. Oh well i guess we never find out.
I farted.
me too!
I dont know wtf to do against blanka players that spam regular and up-balls. help?
both standing and jumping jab as well as strong beat blanka balls clean. also as a tidbit, any jumping mp beats electricity clean!:lovin: If they spam balla, you should be able to bait them pretty easily and make them horizontal ball, jump over it and crossup their recovery and combo them to rape city. itâs a lot easier to see in action than to explain it. at least for me anyway:bluu:
Iâve found that regulated :mp: (standing or crouching, far if itâs Horizontal BBall) to be quite reliable.
Yep, that workd pretty well. Patience is the key with Blanka, until you knock him down that is. Once you get a knochdown, the match should be yours. Cammyâs meaty game works wonders against Blanka cuz all her meaty combos are safe if you tag a lk drill at the end. I use meaty c.mk, s.fp, hit comfirm into rh drill or k drill/hooligan if that gets blacked. Also, if you try to crossup Blanka, that HAS to be super deep, forcing him to hit a reversal. Otherwise youâre gonna eat electricity or a ball.:bluu:
Rather than st.:lp:, I prefer to use cr.:lp:.
It stuffs both of Blankaâs cr.:hp: moves, so if he wants to beat it on the ground then he has to be closer to do it.
Interesting, Iâmma have to try it out!
I FIALLY landed c.mk x2 into super on an actual person last night:party:
Hooray for combos that are as difficult as they are worthless!
The damage that that combo does makes it worth learning. Itâs not even all THAT bad. It becomes a lor easier if you happen to do the combo off of a meaty mk. Itâs completely practical and potentially round winning, so why not try and add it to your arsenal?
lol
Because in any situation where you can perform it, you could just use the easier st/cr.:mp: cr.:mk: Super combo instead.
Or even st.:hp: cr.:mk: Super against some characters.
Also cr.:mk: x2 cannot combo after a crossup (or any other hit).
True, itâs just a personal preference thing is all. I guess I geel better using a low attack as a meaty opposed to c.mp unless Iâm gighting Ryu, Akuma, or DJ cuz c.mk x2 into drill doesnât work out too well:sweat:
Itâs like Iâve been saying all alongâŚcr.:mp: has faster startup and faster recovery than cr.:mk: does. Itâs easily better to start combos with.
while cr.:mk: is still the best poke cammy has, it has better reach than cr.:mp: so it really depends if you are inclose or not. I agree with FreshOJ that cr.:mp: is a better combo starter, but vs some matchups you donât really wanât to get too inclose.
haha depends
But I think in this particular discussion, we are mostly talking about the moves in terms of Combos. Yeah, outside of specific characters like Guile and Blanka, you generally do not use C.:mp: as a poke. But in terms of Combos, ESPECIALLY beause C.:mp: actually hits many characters low (like Fei Long and Dhalsim), thereâs almost NEVER any reason to do C.:mk:, C.:mk: as a Combo over C.:mp:, C.:mk: as a Combo.
I know that James pretty much nailed it with his post, but just to address the last sentence in this postâŚ
âŚthe range that you would have to be in to actually have two cr.:mk:s link (even if the first one is meaty) is actually the same if not closer than the range of cr.:mp:, so youâre in the same danger regardless.
SoâŚwhile itâs your choice if you want to use cr.:mk:, using cr.:mp: is still easier.
