It’s overall rank, and by the looks of it, only ranked matches have any affect on the tracking.
Yes, that’s correct. It’s pulling the data off the same scoreboards as everything else, it’s just that the scoreboards have a lot more data in them than is being reported by the game alone. Thus, why the four categories they (claim to) pull from are the same as the four Xbox Live leaderboards.
It also seems to ignore Random Select as well, 'casue I KNOW I’ve used certain characters more than what it says.

I think random select factors in the same as everything else. What may be happening is that matches that end in a disconnect aren’t contributing to stats. e.g. my total losses from all characters I’ve played in ranked is around 35, yet I’ve got 54 or so losses on the official scoreboards… which means that over a third of my ranked losses have been from discos that arbitrated against me. :shake:
so other than jumping in with mp, does anyone know what else beat chun’s lighting kicks?
I was just about to ask that too. I got a hooligan throw on a chun during her lightning legs earlier tonight… but I’m not sure if that was just luck that she happened to stop it at that exact time or if that’s an actual solution. Other than super-ing her out of it, I’ve no idea what to do against it
It was luck. Your hooligan just happened to sneak past her offensive hit boxes (which are constantly moving when she does the lightning kicks), the same way that Cammy can sometimes sneak through Blanka’s electricity and grab him in the middle of his shock special.
Hey, guys, I notice that dodgers2213 didn’t include one of Cammy’s combos that I’ve found particularly useful, so I thought I’d go ahead and add it to the list:
Cross-up, j. LK -> cr. MP -> cr. MP -> HK Cannon Drill
I wasn’t sure which combo works better out of cr. MP -> cr. MP and cr. MP -> cr. MK, but I did find that cr. MP combos into itself with practically zero effort: it’s extremely fast, and the second one can be linked on almost right after the first one. Plus, the damage is astounding and always either dizzies or puts your opponent about 1 hit away from dizzy.
Again, I’m not sure which is better to use after cr. MP (cr. MP or cr. MK) damage-wise, but I’ve had great success with MP x2. If someone wouldn’t mind shedding some light on this one, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks a lot! :wgrin:
We all already know and use that son. I use c.mp , c.mk unlessI’m trying to combo into super.:bluu:
There is no point in complaining about someone shareing information.
Hahaha, it’s all good, bro. Lorance (Luigi-bo) is a buddy of mine. I’m pretty sure he’s just giving me a hard time. He BETTER just be giving me a hard time, or else… lol
But, yeah, Lorance: like Shari said, ya jerk. :wgrin:
:bluu:
What is it with you and that “bluu” face, by the way??? lol
So I figured out the weird discrepancy with the Crouch Strong, Crouch Forward XX Roundhouse Cannon Drill Combo.
This is against Shotos, I dunno if it’s true against anyone else. And it makes NO sense, but this is how it works:
Against crouching Shotos, Crounch Strong, Crouch Forward XX Short Cannon Drill is the ONLY Cannon Drill that Combos. Roundhouse AND Forward WILL MISS.
Against Standing Shotos, Crouch Strong, Crouch Forward XX Roundhouse Cannon Drill is the ONLY Cannon Drill that Combos. Short AND Forward WILL MISS.
And it could possibly be like this in vanilla ST as well, guess I never really hit too many Shotos while crouching, though I have memories of the Combo not working, now that I think about it, and I was never sure why. Guess I know now.

Anyone found a good crossup combo for shotos? Because I’m pretty sure crossup lk, cr.mp, cr.mk, cannon drill doesn’t work on them. I end up doing the lk cannon drill and take the block damage or just cancel into hooligan but it gets predictable obviously… since dp beats both of those:wow:
edit maybe i should try the roundhouse version of cannon drill >_<
edit again IT WORKS!!!
It definitely has something to do with the size of the hit boxes of standing/crouching shotos and Cammy’s Drills, switch hit box mode on and test it. Also I think testing the speed might also influence the combos success.
Reminds me I need to check O.Cammy’s hit boxes, I know they are better :wgrin: !!
Does Cammy’s Hooligan throw catch crouching opponents?
yes456
Can you try this with c. strong, c. strong xx cannon drill and see if its the saeme or not. I’d do it but i’m at work.
Also: I was just thinking about this, and it concerns Cammy’s matchup against Akuma. Can you use a hooligan roll into throw to get over Akuma’s airfireball and catch him in the air? Is that possible…
712-168 on psn with 100% cammy though i wonder what my record really is because of the disconnects and such… i hope streetfighter.com updates their gamecard to include PSN soon because i’m curious
thanks for that last post jchensor, it really helped a lot
