EDIT: Do you guys have any opinions on the online play? Does anyone know if the X-BOX or PS3 online versions are better/worse than the other? The reliability of the online play will determine what console I buy in the next couple of weeks.
XBL works fine for me. Even with a shitty ISP like Telus, I’m having pretty much lagless games against Cali players. I just need a stick…

21 yr/o male, currently residing in my hometown of London, Ontario, Canada.
No PS3 now but I’m sure I’ll get one in the next year or so, I’ll be using the same name on there and should pick up SSF2-HDR for it as well, but I’ll probably still play it on 360 mainly.
Got a Wii as well, should SFs of any decent kind come out on it, I’ll be sure to pick them up. Don’t have my friend code on me offhand but should you want it just ask and I’ll get back to you if I haven’t already updated my profile with it.
Unfortunately I can’t find any damn Hori pads in stock so I’m using the crappy 360 dpad for now, though I’ve been doing *relatively *okay with it so far. And I need a good pad, I can’t play stick. I’m going to try to learn stick a bit when SF4 comes out, I think I’ll buy the SF arcade stick when it launches and practice on that, as well as the pad.
I’ve also got ZBattle for SSF2 (my favourite version of SF2), though only a crappy Xbox pad again, damn Sega pads can’t be found… and MAME/Gens + Kaillera (though those suck), so I can play those upon request, but I’m not usually going to be seen there with HDRemix out now. Maybe when/if I get a good PC pad or Saturn/Genesis cable converter.
I’ll be getting SFIV for Xbox 360 only though likely (among consoles) and I’ll probably be getting it for PC as well for longevities sake.
As far as in person matches, if anyone wants to play I can see about making the effort to get to someone’s house in London, though likely nothing out of town till probably at least the summer. Living on the outskirts/in the countryside but I’m moving out soon more into the city, but I probably won’t have a car for awhile when I do, insurance too exepensive right now to be on my own/I can take the bus then.
Anyway, hit me up on Live if you want a match, I’m pretty good I think, and by that I mean amongst the general population, maybe not among the SRK forum members, I don’t know, but enough to provide some half-decent competition that tries to learn mostly, unless I’m totally screwing up with my 360 pad (can’t do fireball wars relibably at high level all the time). But there’s tons of minutia I don’t know, I’ve got lots to learn. I can sometimes shave a match (very rarely, and he’s not using his best chars) off DGV (DG anyway) or a round or so off his Ryu (with my Ryu), if that helps anyway.
I’ll update my sig. when I can find a decent pad so you’ll know when I’m at my best.
Oh yeah, I haven’t checked out GGPO yet but I plan to soon when I fix something on my computer, get it reformatted, and have some time, I’ll be using the same name again (well on every service generally, when possible).
