Seasons Beatings is probably the best American major to attend outside of Evo.

It’s in Columbus, Ohio, and will take place next month October 15th to October 17th. Read the thread for more information, but it’s going to feature Daigo, Momochi, and Gamerbee.

Use this thread to discuss cars going down, airfare prices, bus prices, and everything related. This will be my first year going down, but i’ve heard nothing but good things about the previous Seasons Beatings. So far we have confirmed from the GTA:

OMG i completely forgot the dates conflicted. AARGGH. Looks like i’m going to have to drop out of the Gorillaz after all, my bad. Thank god I didn’t buy the tickets. :S

We have a possibly full car right now, just waiting for the last 2 people to confirm, but we’ll be driving down there.

Hey Anant, the Legendary Johnson Brothers are coming to this. We are already setting up plans for this so we are coming for sure. I’ll be there and I want competition when I’m there. First time for us in a major tournament so let’s see what will happen. Check you all out there soon. Ciao!!

How much would the whole trip run me? I think this would be a really good experience for me, especially since I for sure won’t be able to afford Evo next year. I’m like 50% right now but I don’t really have a gameplan yet.

Fuck man, you don’t even know how much it hurts to cancel on a Little Dragon concert. I usually ditch everything to make it down, but I can’t ditch on SB5. :frowning:

People usually estimate around $300, but i’m sure you can make it cheaper than that if you hunt for a hotel and starve for the weekend haha.

Wow, I thought it would be like $5-600. Just gotta go send for my passport - I’ll probably put a rush order on it in a day or two. If I put in a few more hours at work before I leave St. Catharines I can pretty much pay for my trip with that money.
