Can you merge a xbox live profile to an offline profile

Hi folks

I have just signed up for xbox live.

Is there anyway i can link my old offline xbox profile to my new xbox live profile.

The reason being I cant use my old save games on my xbox live profile.

Unless things has changed since I’ve gotten my xbox360, you won’t be able to merge the profiles. Which wasn’t a problem for me because at the time the only game I had was sf4, when i signed up for live.

can’t you just upgrade your offline profile to Xbox Live Gold status and it will become an online profile?

You have to sign up for Xbox live with the offline profile itself. If you created a new account, you can’t merge the two.

Thank you guys

I chaned my offline user name to something unique then when I signed that upto live It created a Live profie wich carried all my achievementd over.

Result!!
