I guess prem lost its luster for you when they took away negbombing.
They better start kicking drunk people out of the Super Bowl now
Why is everyone making a big deal about it? If you don’t like it. Don’t fucking show up. Simple as that.
Their event. Their rules.
I don’t even know who the fuck you are, bro.
You’re an idiot. You do realize how hard it is to maintain 70,000+ people? EVO is only a few 1,000. Which is still hard to manage. So think about that.
I don’t think showing up to your games pool, the semi’s or final’s sober is that big of a favor to ask. If it is then you have a serious drinking problem.
A lot of places don’t like drinks, but they’ll allow bottled water.
I second this. Last year at Ceasers Palace was crazy fun. Fat Tuesdays…nuff’ said
I personally don’t condone anyone being piss drunk to the point to where you can barely walk, but seeing as to how people paid almost $100 for one tournament (not to mention people who entered 2, let alone 3 games ) plus the actual trip itself, you can see why this rule might sit uneasy with alot of people. Especially since the tournament itself IS at Vegas. That’s like going to a strip club and being told to shut your eyes the entire time. Just my two cents…
That analogy kind of sucks because you are not going to Evo to be drunk and surly…even if it is in Las Vegas.
Exactly.
The analogy might suck, but you know what’s worse? The fact that I’m paying well over $1,500 for everything in this trip and can’t have a simple $burger while enjoying the games is what sucks. Sure the experience is worth every penny, but this isn’t just about beer either. This rule includes drinks and food in general. So according to this rule, people are going to be forced to miss panels, films, and games on the big screen just because I want to keep my body hydrated and fed. If I don’t want to miss ANYTHING, I’m going to be forced to starve and sit through the 12 hour day without even sip of water, not just beer. How does that make any sense? Some majors I’ve been to usually provide water in plastic cups, but that thing empties out real fast. Either way people are going to be drinking no matter what, so this rule is pretty silly in general.
^ I mean I like to have a Pepsi while I play. If i went I couldn’t even do that? kinda lame but it looks like the rules wont ever change and I can see why. I’m pretty sure any spills or accidents that might happen from Food or drinks the TO’s will have to pay for the damage done. it’s a catch 22 kind of thing.
Being hydrated is for scrubs.
I thought you guys knew.
Anyway, it isn’t like you can’t eat or drink outside. This isn’t a small venue.
I am confused, i thought the bottled water question was stupid because bottled water was allowed.
am i the only one who did think that?
cause even if they do have water stations that vegas water is fucking ASS!
Last year I remember getting told that no outside drinks were allowed. I was holding a Fiji water bottle…
wooooooooooow man I am glad I did not go id be a huge jerk about that. I understand the alcohol, i understand soda and anything sticky and i understand food but a simple bottle of water?
lol but he was helping the evo staff or apart of it. I’m sure its a pass. you know a whole “do as i say not as i do” kind of rule
he was “helping” evo staff?
he IS evo staff…
it’s one of the cannons.
My bad about not knowing whos staff or not…
all good, i just thought it was hilarious!
There was plenty of people drinking in there, all 3 days.
