when i had my original xbox and played cvs2 there was only one time i can remember having problems (which was when the servers were going haywire and signing you out after like 5-10 mins) but only once did that happen in my 3-4 years of playing it online

capcom needs to fucking fix this shit i don’t find this game enjoyable at all anymore.

Yeah, getting thrown out of meaties and bisons teleporting, rollbacks when I do shit. Pretty damn dumb.

Backbone still didn’t patch umk3. When you play online you get the same lvl over and over again unless you do kombat codes. Also the fact that you can’t change your buttons is just retarded. Same with mk2, can’t fucking change your buttons which makes all my sticks useless.

At least they gave word that we’ll here some news on an hd remix patch in the next few weeks. I was thinking they were just going to say fuck it.

Btw I agree whe the frames are skipping it’s impossible to time a meaty correctly. You just can’t see when to do it or even tell if it was done right.

thats why i dont play HD remix anymore, i went back to play Champion Edition on Kaillera and 2df. waaaay better connection.

hdremix is better on XBL. I never play on PSN anymore because of the random disconnect/freezing/reboot all day. “cant join friends” is BS too.

xbl cvs2 never had any of these problems. sure input delay was pretty bad but the game itself always “worked” and still works. no screen tearing or frames missing.

I don’t see the point on bashing somebody. I’ve played about 350 online matches, some of them player and some of them ranked, I’ve suffered disconnects maybe twice.

Maybe it’s your net that’s shitty?

Eh. I can get Vega’s meaty low forward , low forward , xx psycho crusher / scissor kick nearly every time online.

I’ve been using Vega (Dictator) in Super Turbo for years and adapting the timing for HDR took only a couple of days to get it consistently.

The problem online is not the timing, it’s the rollback system, that when I SEE my character throw down the low forward meaty, then combo a standing roundhouse, and I SEE my opponent get dizzied, and THEN the NEXT THING I SEE is me getting thrown as the game has rolled back to the point right before I threw the meaty low forward and the input it registers after rollback instead is NEUTRAL with no punch or kick commands…what a dumb system.

The same thing goes for tick throwing with T.Hawk. I can cross up splash, 2 x low jab, then go into 270 and piano the inputs for the special throw, and the game will magically rollback a couple of frames, which erases the piano inputs, meaning T.Hawk is now open to throws, attacks, and non-reversal specials because the game erased the window my piano inputs were put in but my opponent can spam normal attacks and win that sequence…pathetic.

I find it funny that you own a 360 and you’re posting in a PS3 forum. That’s pretty hilarious. If my net was shitty, I wouldn’t have played a billion matches on GGPO. Funny how that works.

Even worse than that is when some *** is tick throwing you with Blanka while you have an OCHIO STORED AND PIANOING BUTTONS, and the reversal never comes out.

This game runs the best in the morning or early afternoon- I played for two hours straight in ranked matches with only one or two network errors for the past few days.

I figure Capcom’s servers aren’t stable enough to handle everyone at night.

psn version is fucking garbage. I just got on now for 15 minutes and got 4 fucking disconnects already. didnt have one on xbl for an hour earlier. just sharing experience.
