thanks.
BOSS is the best.
Japan
Kuroda
Yuki
Match
Uraken
KZ
Boss
No specific order, but I wouldn’t say BOSS is the best. Judging from the Versus vids he’s good but I don’t think I can compare him to Gouki specialists. Though that might be my Kuroda-fanboyism blocking my sight.
trust me he is currently the best.
my opinion, plus many other japanese players opinions now…
Hsien is the best US Akuma player imo
I can’t rank American players, but I can rank top Gouki’s at Denjin…
- pherai
- pyrolee
- Vinny Marano
- MattxChin
- 5 Star
forgot yuuki told me you went to japan, that’s pretty interesting. Why is Boss so good with so many damn characters haha
I’m hesitant to rate KZ that high. I played him, and although it was only once, I didn’t get the feeling he was really sandbagging against me and it surely wasn’t the same feeling I got when I play KO or Match Gouki.
I reckon Nomoto is better than Match and Uraken…
Best japanese akuma is probably Kuroda.
Jiro is also very good. Yuki is safer.
Best american akuma?
Therapist, Darren, JR, Exo?
i dont know much about akumas so these are just my thoughts.
I’d have to say Therapist for American, Kuroda for Japanese
I mean you can’t really say anybody is the “best”. Pherai is really sick, but you wouldn’t know because you don’t go to Denjin, just as they don’t see Therapist. I think UK would take this one. Naz has been sick for a while, and there’s videos of him hanging with the big boys in Japan. Sure he’s not US but their community is so small; just add em!
@Pherai… aw man KZ was sick in the days I was studying Gouki, shame.
Pherai is better than Therapist. But if we went by tournament results, wouldn’t J.R. Rodriguez be the best American Gouki?
haha, to be honest, I kind of take it back. 1 game of gouki mirror match is a very unreliable test of skill, and its obvious he has great character knowledge. It’s not fair to compare him to KO, who I think is simply a really talented player and I didn’t really learn anything from, or Match who arguably has the most character knowledge of Gouki period.
Also I got to play Therapist a bit and watched him play while we were in Japan and it really helped expose some of the weaknesses in my game seeing how he approached or reacted to certain situations differently than me. I have a lot of respect for his game. Someday we will do an official East vs West showdown. Therapist and lavaheart vs me and…someone??
and JR Rodriguez
if i can get him to play. where you at JR??? :wonder:
He’s busy taunting Prodigal son
Don’t usually post in these threads, but I’m def #1 Gouki at Denjin.
Proved it in an all man king of the hill Gouki competition.
I’m the best Gouki in Norcal against the cpu.
G doesn’t stand for Gouki. It’s for gee gee gee geeeeeeee.
