Can somebody tell me why they are using the Japanese version of BBCP at evo this year?

The finals where on the American version. I think it just came down to what copies of the game they happened to have available.

Funny they used the NA version for grand finals though, since 7/8 players were Japanese and they even had some problems navigating the menus lol

When I played during pools I’m pretty sure it was the NA version. Maybe it was a table-by-table setup.
