Can somebody tell me why Noel Brown did not have the decency to not put himself and actually put a competent EC player on the 5th spot? I woulda loved to see Rahshan, J.Wong, Damian, Masta CJ, Ray Ray, Ryry, Twisted Jago or Chris G. At this point, Wolverine/Akuma’s dominance is done and done. Top players know all the tricks of those two by now, so I’m not even sure why Noel thought he wasn’t gonna go 0-5.
If you look at his results over the course of MvC3, he’s placed better than them overall.

Nobody is really any coast anymore. Everyone’s done so much flip flopping around coasts who cares anymore? I just wanna see Good vs. Evil and not surprising that Noel Brown’s one dimensional team is getting more figured out.

Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. It’s a territory. Don’t see why it and Rog should be treated as a bunch of outsiders.
And to the OP: I agree that Puerto Rico really isn’t East Coast, but PR Rog is awesome, the country is on the east side of the continent, EC needed solid players, and no one really cared about all the technicalities of what “East Coast” meant.
It was mentioned many times on the stream commentary that PR Rog spends a good deal of time each year in Florida.
Because it’s a fucking videogame, not a geography college. You really think it would be fair to leave them out just because?
Actually Puerto Rico is a Commonwealth. That aside, I agree that they shouldn’t be left out. It is pretty much eastern United States if Florida is.
Too many people think the east coast is specifically New England. While technically that is the east COAST, for rivalry purposes Louisiana to the east coast ought to be considered the east.
Same time zone if that’s any consolidation
