Cammy's 'What went wrong' and 'Critique' video

Hi, had a quick look at your videos, the biggest problem seemed to be you were jumping in too much so your opponents were getting a lot of free damage just knocking you out of the air. Its a difficult habit to get out of and everybody does it, but I think maybe if you used Cammy’s forward and backdash a bit more instead of jumping forward and back it might help. Also when you use the cannon strikes when jumping forward you’re using them around the top of her jump arc, so it gives the opponent more time to react, try to do them a little quicker after you have left the ground. Try to avoid spiral arrow from so close also when its not on the end of a combo, its very punishable. Not bad though!

thanks very helpful what other ways should i get in tbh i really hate jumping against shotos as i become theyre playtoy when theyre using fireballs or absorb till i mess up and have 10% left and misinput the ultra and lose. still thanks again i really need to get her bnb down also after watching many others i can see im missing out on alot of damage because of it

One big habit that I can point out myself is that I tend to do a Cannon Spike immediately after a Spiral Arrow. I know I should break that habit, but it works so freaking well against people online. :’(

if he had those reactions he’d also be doing straight sHP->SA combos but alas he his HP then pause and walks back, his go 2 BnB was cLK-cLP-cLK…Pause…nothing…he was baiting for pinwhell/ex pinwheel after the cHP.

He also did a hella random U2 in the 1st round that he should’ve gotten ultra’d for but the juri didn’t know how to execute either.

Seph keep getting a feel for the game, its good you can record so that you can post vids up…

-when jumping Hp/Hk will work better than Mk.
-punish whiff dps with cMK->arrow or just ultra
-punish fbs with ex arrow or ultra

Try to always end your combos with HK Spiral Arrow to maximize your damage. Also, try to incorporate the TKCS (tiger knee’d Cannon Strike) into your game. It’s a good way to build meter and overall it’s one of Cammy’s best tools. I’m not super awesome with Cammy yet so that’s all the help I can offer at the moment. Hopefully someone who is more experienced will help you.

Im uploading more of my cammy atm this is the first one up of my continuous perils with deejay i just cant beat him convincingly any tips anyone i really need the help thanks

Cut down on the jumping in general. Also he read your jump over his fireballs quite a few times - don’t be afraid to just walk up and block when they come out. Also, as the guy who commented on the first video said, practice the instant cannon strike and ease back on the high ones.

i can do the tkcs ones alone using them within combos is shaky for me i can do it in training mode etc but in matches under pressure i fall apart doing it i mess up end up jumping all over the place from mistimed inputs

anything else apart from the jumping?

In the first round of the fight against dictator, when I ate that ultra I thought that I was doing a safe jump! From backthrow asap a crouch MP then jump in rh. Was it to blame on my execution, the ultra starts in 3 frames or is my set up for the safe jump wrong?

Also, watching this videos I saw I was getting too predictable with hooligans hehe

your setup is wrong i think. Use stand jab to time safe jumps after back throw.
