The one thing I think we can all learn from SCR and MGW this past weekend is that clean Cammy is the right Cammy. Kbrad’s play was nothing short of inspiring, and Xiao Hai is looking to possibly dethrone Infiltration at this point as the best SFV player. He is so consistent in terms of placing in the top 8 post-EVO.

The issue wasn’t the execution from what I recall. I loved this combo in S1 and wanted it to work so bad, but it kept having whiffing issues. Although they made it better this season and not -2 on block it still suffers for the same (ch) pushback and ambigious range whiffing problems. I mentioned in the Zangief thread that it was best to use this combo in places where cr lp x 2 would work for the extra damage, but it has to be point blank really to work. For example when you whiff the second cr lp in an ambigious situations its not as bad as when the b+mp whiffs right in front of them. 2:39:07 shows exactly what I mean. It tends to work better as a punish rather than a confirm as the confirm isn’t guaranteed unfortunately due to the BS counter hit pushback.
Yah, its a stupid problem to have. However, in the videos he seemed like he was confirming it at not so pb range(see second rnd against Nemo), but i’ll take your word for it since I have not spent much lab time experimenting with it in s2.

I would’ve gone with Kaahreeen VS Dhalsim. I hate playing my main Cammy VS Dhalsim. KBrad seems to know the matchup though. c HK s HP at full screen as wel as full screen c HP into Super was rediculous. If anyone knows links to the Evo 2017 Kazunoko XiaoHai match vids please post 'em.
