eventhubs is wrong. It’s +4 on hit… I think it’s +1 on block?

Thx seem like it and its only c.lk that is +2 on hit. Eventhubs give -1 on block for c.lp
For Super Street figther and +1 on block in the Vanilla one. I will consult a more realiabe frame data.

I am really new Cammy have couple of questions:

-What is the best punisher without ex , FA or jumping : is it C.hp , Far mp xx Cannon Drill ?

-There is a Cammy trial that goes J.hp , C.hp , Far hp

Is there a point to this combo apart from being a 1 frame link ?
when I have the simple J.hp , C.hp, C.mk , Cannon Drill

-When I go for a Cannon Strike , is the idea to hit the lowest possible to be able to link easier after ?

your best punish is probably the sako combo. tkcs, stand MP, crouch HP, crouch MK -> Spiral Arrow. crouch HP, crouch MK -> spiral arrow works well too. if you don’t have as much time or want to be quick, stand fierce to drill is good too.

no real reason for jump hp cHP far hp.

if you’re using a regular cannon strike then yes. EX it doesn’t really matter.

c.lp , st mp , c.mk xx Spiral should work timing and spacing seem tight dont know if it worth it.

-Are the Cannon Spike combos mostly use in the minding of using a Focus Cancel or they are good

-Is there a reason to Focus Cancel a Spiral arrow apart from making it safe when its blocked.

You have enough time to dash up and do a regular dive kick.

that’s the combo I use… kind of depends on the situation.

wait… cannon spike combos? Cannon Spike as in… DP/Shoryuken? You should never really combo into cannon spike.

You can tack on another 80 damage if you FADC the spiral arrow. We’re talking about 2 1-frame links though.

Spiral arrow FADC is not worth it unless you miss a link and hit it on block. On hit you can link light attack xx HSA, maybe 4 framer too. Damage just isn’t worth it so save your meters.

When you have Ultra stocked, yes combo into Cannon Spike FADC Ultra but otherwise HSA is better. Sometimes you could combo into CS FADC CS but it’s only small extra damage you get. Save 2 meters for CS FADC and do stuff like early crossup j.lk into CS FADC to catch them mashing. I feel Cammy’s potential goes through the roof once you got like 3 bars EX and you score a knockdown. EX-Cannon Strike is especially important since it beats a lot of anti-airs that would normally hit.

Spiral Arrow FADC cr. lp, st. mp, cr. mk -> Spiral arrow

OR

Spiral Arrow FADC cr. lp, st. HP -> Spiral arrow.

Cannon Spike FADC ultra doesn’t really do a lot of damage.

I can do it but I am really just gessing the timing. If I hold jump,
to jump as soon as I get out of the dash animation , I cant react fast enough
for the quarter circle back without gessing again.

-I cant do the trial 3 ex Cannon Strike in a row. I cant even do 2 :slight_smile:
I dont get it I am doing it as fast as I can but to no avail. Something simple
I am sure I am missing…

-The Sako combo is pretty easy when youre use to double p-link a c.hp with Ryu :slight_smile:

how do i avoid getting jabbed out of a divekick
it seems every time i try it people are mashing jab and i get hit all the time

I asked the same question a while ago and got this answer from dualmatrix and it helped me a lot with getting jabbed out of dive kicks:

"If you are getting jabbed when you do tk cannon strike on wake up, it means that you’re doing it too late. You want to time your tk cannon strike to make it meaty, where they cannot escape. They won’t be able to jump, jab, strong, or crouch tech out of it. They will get punished for doing so. As far as ambiguous cross ups, after ending a combo with spiral arrow, immediately jump and do lk cannon strike to hit in front and continue combo. Mix that up between cross up j.lk. They cannot react in time and puts them in a 50/50 situation.

Now if you meant you were doing an air cannon strike and immediately instant cannon strike, but getting jabbed when doing instant cannon strike, then throw or cannon spike will beat jabbers. If they like to throw tech after blocking the air cannon strike, instant cannon strike will beat throw tech."

There’s a trick with doing dive kicks. Do the quarter circle back before you jump. So to do an instant cannon strike do quarter circle back, to up, to up forward. So when you dash forward after focus, you buffer the quarter circle back…

Ex cannon strike you do qcf to up back. - also a great way to confirm ultra.

Does it matter what version of kick you use for the tk cannon strike?

For an instant one? Not much. The arc difference is mostly only noticeable on delayed/normal CS, and for playing with the outcome of some of her crossup setups. There’s no different frame data or damage difference on the different strengths otherwise.

all the people I fight tell me I need to rush down more. How do I do that with U1 super as my selection.
