When did they say new move for everyone? I know they said everyone is getting a 2nd ultra sadly Cammy’s new one sucks but oh well.

I read in this thread that Cstrike can have cross up abilities and I wanted to throw my 2 cents in. For as far as I know ex Cannon strike has overhead/cross up abilities although it is really tricky to pull off. In training I can get it to work on a crouching Balrog (Boxer). What I do is stand as close as possible then neutral jump up and at the highest point ex Cstrike down. It’ll hit him in the back if done right. You can even follow it up with an Ultra.
I tested it by recording Balrog holding db. He blockes everything except for a perfectly placed Ex-Strike from a neutral jump. I think this only works outside of corners and only on chars that can be crossed up. Doesn’t work on Ryu. Don’t really know if this is practical, but I’m quite sure it can get me out of pinch if I practised enough. Thoughts?
BTW, I’m new to this forum and this is my first post.
i did a full test on this exact setup, the results of which are in the cammy combo’s and glitches thread. it’s a solid setup and that neutral jump ex strike can be made ambigouse as fuck, it can cross up almost the entire cast and provide good combo follow-ups for most. then you can get really tricky with it, it can cross-up, it can fake cross-up where you hit them in front then land behind them (heart these) or it can look like a cross-up and plop cammy in front of them. overall it’s not something you should be using a lot in matches as it’s a mixup that requires 1 bar… but as far as safe mixups go this one is pretty solid… it beats most dp’s since they whiff in the wrong direction (although as i found out due to my friend fudging a dp motion akuma’s mexican uppercut stuffs it clean no matter where i’m trying to land lol)

does back jump to ex strike act same as neutral jump ex strike as crossupping?
doing that is either impossible or unecessarily difficult
It might crossup if they are dashing forward trying to chase you but a neutral jump is straight up
Does anyone have set ups for using safe jumpins with Cammy ?
I’m trying to find some, but they aren’t really practical …

not to my knowledge, even off the neutral jump the window to cross-up isn’t very big (you need to be high enough above them and close enough to them) so i would highly doubt you could get back jump to work short of them trying to dash forward or something.
however back jump into ex strike can still be usefull because a lot of people (myself included) tend to want to reclose distance when someone jumps away so i personally will go to move immediately forward, and as such ex strike would catch me/them.

you can, but i think you have to dash forward 1 or 2 times depending on the spacing for it to hit. or at least for it to hit for full damage and the possibility to fadc into ultra.
I just started fucking around with the double crouching fierce that Aulord told me about in the last tournament and it really works wonders against some characters like Balrog, Gief, and Sagat. Now if only we could use it to set up a counter hit ultra:(

yea, ever since aulord showed me that…i’ve been using it ever since.
to setup the couter hit, i will throw out the second cr.hp if the first cr.hp gets blocked. i will generally get the counterhit as long as they input a move that takes more than 3 frames (or if they are slow on the button input).
this works about 60% of the time. a lot of people will just block though, but since i am at the advantage…if both are blocked i will walk forward and throw or tkcs.

Heya! There are indeed light, medium and heavy TK Cannonstrikes, but they have the same startup and negligible (if any) damage differences. When Cammy is that close to the ground, there’s no reason to use anything but roundhouse. It even gives just an inch more reach, which -might- make a difference.
Just always use roundhouse in my experience. (Or Ex. Which rocks.)
For some reason, and it may just be my own perception, I find that using LK TKCS gives slightly more frame advantage in combos than HK TKCS, but I could be wrong. I always use LK TKCS for combos:
ie. LK TKCS->cr.HP->cr.MK->HK SA…
If I use HK TCKS, I tend to miss/mess up the cr.HP->cr.MK link… maybe psychological on my part…
